Looking to increase the rainbow, in the stable. And get some indica plant in there to join the Triple Diesel Sativa.

Not wanting to deal with low-yielders, though. Which in the Purple family is very common.

Considering Cannabiogen's Peyote Purple..

God's gift clone was very good. Purple Urkle and GDP are and always were two of my favorite clone-only plants to grow and smoke. But, the kickdown on the urkle is very low, with long veg times necessary as well, and poor resistance to botrytis in the great outdoors.

GDP was great, with more yield, but that was the original clone-only, which I do not have access to now.

Peyote Purple is a small yielder, sometimes the yield makes me not want to grow her again, but I always do. Peyote Purple isn't very potent either, especially compared to chems.

Well, PP's maybe not the answer. I did see a few recent photos of a nice PP flower cluster, but it may have been the only one in the grower's room that was really chunky..
We all like to take pics of the "trophy Buds," haha.

I am not sure of what the boutique has but cali vonnection has a few- Blackwater... purple chem... purple crack. exotic genetix has kimbo kush... pink 2.0 ark side of the moon... reserva privada has a purple urkle t.w. cross bit i cant remember the name.. riot seeds has tons of blood orange crosses avail... thereare tons of purps out there... what are u lookin for... yield or pure fire... are u lookin for that urkle tast or just dsrk herb

If it doesn't have to have purple in the name. Id suggest Cookiewreck huge dark purple cookie buds... also relentless did hella work with purples... i do know the stank bro philthy auction comin up will have lots of potential high quality purple plants... some urkle bubba pk cookie bbtw u will find solid high quality purple plants.. multiple breeders contributed there best shit to the cause..

The closest to p.u. in seed form by any breeder i know of is deep purple by tga subcool... its irkle crossed to space queen, then back to p.u. creating a 75% urkle plant...

Most purples aren't strong. A few come to mind but if only from Bay or Boo ....Granddoggy purple looked good what about LVPK x Bubba kush
or Herijuana? If from NorCal I bet you've tried the real purple kush not the one from sr71 anyway it also went to Canada early on peace sdd

Ive smoked Kimbo Kush from Exotic Genetix .... its purple and strong. My destroyer from Cannabio Gen was hella purple & strong due to good breeding with meao thai and columbian genes... was a trully floating, mental drifty, overtaking high. I think a lotta purps have been bred for bag appeal tho, and not potency. The reasons for this are obvious, however a discriminating buyer can acquire high yielding tasty, and strong high purps if you are determined..... I found a shop that still has Mendo Montage available today

I am no longer in Mendo, Now, in another Med State. But was doing the nasty for 10 years NorCal style, up to two years ago.

Yes, sdd - I grew a good cut of Purple Kush, once - as well as the pictured buds.

Due to personal experiences with the (larcenous) owners that I once called friends - I cannot support Dee En Ay, or RP. Never. Ever.

Deep Purple may have a decent yield due to the sativa-ish SQ. Good call. The poly-hybrid effect (multi-phenos) is an issue with TGA, but still good things do appear.

Into the Cookie Wreck thing, 'cause I like TW. But, the cookies line was adulterated very quickly and very deeply, due to peoples' greed, once the real thing (Berner's Cut) was introduced in SF. Genetic Dilution, causes Me to eschew the whole Cookies line. Maybe someone will stablize a great cut into a bean - but then everyone will have it.

I can;t see any GDP seed being more satisfying to Me than the original clone-only was. Maybe my favorite smoke of all. Looks, taste, buzz. Growth.

My present strain - - Monocropping the Triple Diesel Clone-Only. It is very pleasing to me in the Garden. After all these years, 40 seedpacks, and numerous Clone-onlies - For Me, THIS cut is the best..

maybe try the auto thing? sweet seeds has a cpl dark strains with some nice flavors so I read.... also nice to forget the photoperiod thing I bet..... however I have zero experiance with autos.... just spitballin...

PCK from CBG/Ace is my favourite purple plant, its not too strong but has a very nice stone and can still put people to sleep.
Great colour and very nice taste and aroma...smells of wild blackberries and taste is deep musky hash, I love her.

Colour is more vibrant if grown outside with cold nights

As for Peyote purple, I found this in a 5 pack, lol and she is in no way weak, people are telling me she is one of the best smokes for a long time and I agree, just wow.
Dense buds, stinky and taste is deep, deep hash and potency is strong imho.
Best at 9 to 10 weeks.

You could always breed the PP with a nice make you have to up the yield on her if that's your thing.

Female seeds sell a new variety that replaces their purple, Red Purps, which I'm really curious about. Purple Maroc is a winner outdoors imo.

Cannabiogen/ace have some nice purple strains, Panama, PCK and Purple Haze and crosses of it..

Sann iesshop also has a few worked lines that I'm interested in. Killing Fields, Jackberry, Blue Hammer, cheeseberry(haze) etc most of the color comes from proven Blueberry parents. I've smoked a few of these strains that a friend grew and they are well potent and tasty.

I've grown a pack of CBG PCK, it wasn't potent, it was pretty and pink, but overall just not worth growing IMO. Mild stone, mild aroma and medium yield.
