I have noticed no difference in mountain grown weed from the uv..maybe after many generations it might be noticeable.
I haven't noticed any either. At 9000ft the sun is stronger (so you put more sun lotion on the plants ), but levels of O2/CO2 are lower, and temperature swings are more radical (cold nights!), so you end up with smaller, stockier plants.
That said, your smoking experience will get more intense the higher up you go IMO. I often go up to 13 000 - 15 000ft, and it makes an average smoke wild and trippy.
I've also brought down mountain grown weed I thought was pretty good to sea level, and there it somehow loses its power.
