Wettable Sulphur for PM and Pests

I use Wettable Sulphur to eliminate PM and kill bugs on contact. It puts an end to Powdery Mildew and any pests. This one pound bag will last me a long long time.

I use Build A Soil's micronized Sulpher as specified. It mixes great, does not stink. It leaves a residue on the plants as it is supposed to. I spray until runoff: leaves top and bottom, stems, soil, pots, equipment, walls etc

Mix at a rate of 2 Tablespoons per gallon of water. · Do not spray horticultural or essential plant oils for 14 days PRIOR TO OR FOLLOWING application.

To be clear, this thread wasn't about build a soil it is about wettable Sulphur. Whatever the brand, it's use in horticulture has many benefits. Info for the new growers getting started.
How long have you been using it? And for what bugs? I see you're dealing with aphids now.

It has to be planned. I typically spray the veg stuff once every 10-14 days with Growsafe and aim to get the Sulpher in before a big cloning or sending to flower. Then Growsafe just before flower set and done.

Brought a bunch of soil indoors along with the Aphids. They are toast now, Sulphur wacks them good. It works on all bugs to an extent and it is used in my outdoor gardens. Growsafe kills bugs on contact as well.

Preventive spraying in veg is well worth the efforts people!

You can buy a 30 lbs bag of

Microthiol Disperss Micronized Sulfur

For like 70 dollars. But a 1lbs bag lasts a long time. Build a soil charges 98 dollars for a 30 lbs bag so they mark that up a bit.
I like their products they just mark stuff up a little.

The only difference I see is the Bonide is 90% and the BAS is 80%. I wonder if one dilutes better. I've got a lb of the Bonide but I've never used it.

I don't have anything against BAS either. They're a local CO company and I've got a ton of their products. I ordered the 50 lb bag of Craft Blend last time they had a 50% off sale.

No worries Sub24ox7, the more of growers experiences the better!

Here is another pro tip and it is a big one. Spray the problem plant. Yep real bombshell there eh? Lol

I took the plant that has the Aphids into the shower and hosed it off as aphids hate water. Figured knock them back some before spray right? So I let it dry in the shower. Went and sprayed the entire veg op and done. Later that day I notice the problem plant sitting un-sprayed in the tub. Doh!!! 😂
