WET VS DRY Trimming

This. Weed that tastes like hay sucked to start with.

This is my wet trim almost done with the drying process. No way this bud could ever smell and taste like grass or hay.

If it has Cannabinoids it can smell like hay.

In fact, most bud today that people describe as "earthy" or "gassy" is grown too poorly to even smell of hay. I would rather smoke "chlorophyll" ( hexenol) than anything the dispensaries sell.

It's odd how the smell of lost potential has been demonized when it comes to GLVs, but not when it comes to the toxic off flavors.

The hay smell is an anaerobic bacteria. We hang them to ensure good air flow and no delay in drying. The opposite of drying with the leaves on. Hay is a heap of drying stuff, so you near always get the smell.

I chopped a branch off the wrong plant while trimming, so hung it to trial dry trimming. Again. Again the same result. Showers of good stuff coming off it like a blizzard, as I struggled to get the now shrunk and stuck leaves off. I gave up. It's only a quarter, I will give it to the needy.

I never try to collect trichomes from my flower. I try to keep it all on the flowers.
And if something falls off you throw it away out of spite?

I really don't understand all the hate against tumblers. Sure they knock a bit off and maybe it looks a bit worse. But then it's just 1 hour vs. 10 hours.
Taste and potency is the same.
