Yes for sure resin lung the skid road area is the shits. I used to hang out at the Vancouver Indian Center just down east Hastings aways and used to even play ball at Carnegie Library gymnasium. Lost some good friends to hardliving lifestyle that is the skid row. Avoid the skid road and you will be ok, i do not even like to drive through there anymore let alone walk around or take the bus through there. Main and Hastings area is a killing field area where you have to see it to believe it with your own eyes the weird out of sight shite that goes on there. I go to a martial arts club down at a Japanese Buddist Church at 220 Jackson street and sometimes would feel better if I took a louisville slugger with me to the Kung-fu club. It amazes me if you go one block over to East pender ave where the Chinese area is there is like another world far removed and it is only like a city block away!! Take care if you venture into the Skid Row be there warned. There are lots of chill areas to go and see other than Main Street and East Hastings. Check out the beaches like Kits beach off of West 2nd ave. Or if you prefer au natural Wreck beach where it all hangs out (nude beach) by the University of B.C.. There is lots of killer deadly buds and bubble hash to enjoy around and pretty much everything else under the sun if you can find it. I like to show my Washington friends what they can get for their $ dallas like in. It is at least half the price in Vancouver over what the dudes pay for deadly in WA. Stay safe and happy travelling.
