i think i know what happened to the pipeline finally. first, have you read about the weaponized dolphins, cats, squirrels etc ? i believe (ahem) that Greenpeace strapped little backpacks full of magnetometer triggered explosives on crabs and dumped them into the water. whenever the crabs crawled too close to the pipeline, the metal triggered the explosions. brilliant, eh ? no? lol...

Russia is close to having the upper hand, simply by virtue of having 10 or 11 time zones' worth of "Stuff" - oil, gas, mineral resources, forest resources, etc.

If I was Russia I would prepare to live without Western $, and train their people in the areas that are critical to science & tech development.

e.g. making Semiconductors. If Russia has anything like Intel or TSMC, they are hiding it.

Of course if Russia is going to use their Human Resources, their Human Resources have to be well-nourished.

Imagine Putin telling Russian citizens that they have to take their vitamins, exercise more, and study Chemistry.

Seymour Hersh has a mixed record on accuracy and the use of anonymous sources. Hard to say what the truth of the explosion was, but the dive facility in Panama City being a part of it is plausible.

They were already saying that, so I don't understand the logic. Only one country benefits from the destruction of NS, and it's the country that told the world that it would end the pipeline "one way or another".

Say what you want about 3berries, but Seymour Hersh is a Pulitzer Prize award winning journalist who exposed the My Lai Massacre and coverup by the US Military in Vietnam.

I wouldn't immediately dismiss off hand anything he publishes.

The best reason the US has for blowing up the pipeline is to cut off a flow of cash for Putin and help starve the War Machine of Russia.
