Hash usually contains CBD while flowers don't and CBD is said to be good against anxiety and paranoia, so this makes a lot of sense.I know people that said flower gets them paranoid and hash doesn’t. Back in the 70’s I thought that hash was more of a body buzz and flowers were more mental. They came from 2 different import regions.
Started in 1974 - 50 years this year. I was 13, and it was the 70's. Been smoking just about daily ever since, except for a few years here and there because of work, but now I'm retired. Dallas, TX, weed had just been taken off the felony list in TX, there were guys in prison doing 20 years for 2 seeds back then. Use to get joints for $0.50, ounces for $10, pounds for around $100 of seedy, stemmy, all shake, commercial Mexican weed and we loved it. Seeds popping in your face, hell it seems like there were seeds everywhere back then. The weed was probably 5% or less THC, but we got high as hell on it. Everyone I met that came from out of state, complained about the weed around Dallas, until the late 70's, about 1978, when we started getting Colombian Gold in town. $40 and ounce, $400 a lb was a hard sell at first, until you took one hit, and coughed your ass off, then was stoned, and you wanted all you could afford. Then came the 1980's and weed got really expensive.I'm 38 and am in my 30th year of cannabis consuming. My cuz though it would be fun to get this 8 yr old stoned on the way to see some 70's era disaster movie. It was, but I can't for the life of me remember which movie it was. Posidon Adventure, Inferno, Earthquake, Airport, one of them. By the time I was 10 I was a daily user, sneaking off to the bushes to smoke joints my cousin rolled for me. Eventually he got me a pipe. This was the San Francisco bay area, so pretty much anything was cool at the time.
So what's your story?
