hi nkots,
I agree they have a nice structure, bushy! looks good for the cab.
thanks bro, much appreciated :tiphat:

are you ready for another rabbit update, folks?

this time the rabbit warren (big HPS cab), where Hot Mix plants are 31 days old today. it's their 3rd day of 12/12:

i quite like the even canopy formed by all the pruned branches however there is always 2 or 3 shoots that excel and i train them down to have all/most tops at the same level. other than that, i let them grow now as they choose :)

added another mixing fan inside the cab because these bushy plants reduce the airflow from the 1st PC fan (you can barely notice it now in the top left corner).

peace out :smoke:

How are your bunnies doing my friend?
hello iska, good to see you here, thx for stopping by!

i guess you mean the little bunnies in the smaller cab i.e. the rabbit burrow?

if this is the case, then here is an update for you ;)

due to space constraints and to make them even more bushy i pruned ALL shoots two days back.

while performing this, i took 2 cuttings from each and threw them in another cloner that sits in the big empty bottle (it acts as humidity dome):

i wonder if this method will help them develop roots faster than in case of Hot Mix plants, who still did not root yet.

Interesting idea on using a bottle as a humidity dome, must save loads of space!

What have you got the shoots rooting in?

lol, TT, if i am not mistaken he is PINK! then yes, this little fellow is definitely one of mine, hehe!

thx cab ninja, the first batch of clones is in pure water while in case of this second batch i added some rooting agent to the water (only 2-3 pinches though). let's wait for the results!

after pruning the main shoots all side branches took off with double energy:

the bushes are really taking lots of available space now. i hope the Hot Mixes show their gender soon enough.
then i will decide on my next steps...

Really a good work and healthy babies, really a nice idea the bottle for the clone zone..

thx for the comment, iskaboy, glad you like it!

update time from the rabbit warren (big HPS 250 cab).

plants are 36 days old and 8 days into 12/12

a lot of stretch observed.
and i may be mistaken but i believe 2 of them already show feminine traits
fingers crossed for the 3rd one!

peace out!

update from the micro cab, i.e. the rabbit burrow.

ChemdoggDD-x-SD ibl are 30 days old today

and they literally overgrow the cab!

i am sure they require repotting but need to wait just a little longer to make sure about space availability in bigger cab (if the suspect male really turns out to be male).

fingers crossed for a male???

That is a dense canopy you got there man, looking really healthy. They are definitely overgrowing the burrow

thx for comment, RS. You could not be more right.

therefore time came for some action in the rabbit meadow. bunnies grow fast and require much more space.

here is what pink rabbit decided to do:

1. leave only one ChemdoggDD-x-SourDiesel in micro cab - rabbit burrow - and equip it with a scrog

2. move the other two into temporary cab, called now the rabbit pit

let me present the plants before the action:

this last one was selected to stay in the burrow

before proceeding with that 3rd plant, let me display the scrog.

i took a fruit box, which farmers around here use to display their produce at the local marketplace.

the box was secured with extra pieces of wood to make it sturdy, ventilation whole drilled, then painted flat white.

next step was dedicated to the screen - pink rabbit used metal rings and would lead a wire through them to make a weaving patttern. but this comes after the plant goes in.

next step was the inside of the box.

i used thick foil and attached it to the wood, left some space for the air intake and drilled water drain wholes in the bottom.

then filled the box with soil + chicken manure mix.

as you may guess by now, the air inlet whole in fruit box corresponds to air intake whole in the burrow wall.

if the plant looks somewhat rough to you in the pic above then you are not mistaken...
the whole action should have taken place much earlier...

anyway here is the scrog in place:

i switched it to flower immediately after repotting and 1 day later it looks like this:

thx, sgap, can't wait to see the screen fill up :)

i am pretty sure the scrog will be well covered as the branches already cover ca. 80-85% of space and they will stretch now as 12/12 is in play

i am planning to keep the shoots below the screen until they start forming colas.

unless this green fellow is a male...? ;)

now, as far as the other 2 ChemdoggDd-x-SDibl are concerned, let me introduce to you the rabbit pit.

it is a temporary CFL 96 Watt cab that i used years ago.

it rose up from the ashes, coming very handy now when pink rabbit run out of grow space.

Wonderful "underground lair" you have there, NKOTS! Your plants seem to love it! And I see you are much better at SCROG then me, hehe! :) Good luck with the grow! I'll keep watching...
