With the passing of SamS, I immediately reached out to @Chimera to ask him to return. It seems obvious to me that we need him back. It is important to me to say that I hope everyone can behave themselves. One of my deepest regrets was what happened to Nevil when he came online. Shanti asked me if I thought it was a good idea to have him on the MNS forums, and of course I said I thought it would be great. I had no idea the trolls would line up to have a go at him, and I hated seeing that. My hope here is to open a thread where people who appreciate Chimera can talk with him. I am aware that the road to hell is paved with good intentions, but I will try anyway.
Since SamS' passing, Chimera has been busy. He has been posting all kinds of wonderful information about SamS on instagram, information that I know many of you here will love. Hopefully he can also post it here, or we can post links, but what he is posting there is pure gold, and my hope is that all of you will see it.
I did not know SamS. I did not talk with him on the forum. But I did follow several of his conversations, and I do respect that he was here trying to help as many as he could. Clearly he loved the plant, and clearly Chimera and SamS shared a very special bond. I hope that everyone here will respect that bond, and allow him to post on this forum without any of the nonsense. Mods, you know what to do. Members, please enjoy Chimera while we can.
