Weird Leafs on my plants

So here the most recent pics taken today.

This is the LST AK-47

Here is the Mutant AK-47

And here is both of them under their 400w MH

Couldn't have done it with out the help of the people on these forums. Much thanks and mad K+++

I transplanted yesterday. So I figure in 2 weeks I should be ready to throw the HPS and set them on 12/12 for the flowering cycle.

As for nutes for flowering. I haven't purchaced any yet. I was going to goto my grow store and see what he recommended. The nutes I have right now he recommended to me and they seem to be doing ok.

Any suggestions for tips I should need to know about going into flower?
I was thinking of giving them 36 hours of darkness before the switch. I know not to use full strenght nutes right away. Not sure how to go about watering before and during the flower cycle. So any help there would be awesome.

Thanks again folks enjoy the porn. Peace.

Hmmm. Powdergreen? Put your cursor on sprouts 5 boxes beside his name. 8 months x 30 days x 8 hours= 1920 hours helping others. Wonder why my post count is so high? :moon: Somebody offered me $30 an hour to do this. I would rather smoke a joint. :joint:
Sprout cares more about shit like this post right here than he does about actually helping folks. It feeds his ego,ask him if doesn't feel like the resident doctor here at icmag,he posted it one night.Right then I relized why he does what he does. It's his ego.Why in this tread alone he's tellin Chron he has a boron dif.when it's clear to everyone it's only a reverting plant. So what happens if he hits em with some borax,it's goin ta fuck em up right? Also in this thread he told him he had a micro-nute problem with his new leaves, again clearly no dif.it's simply what new leaves look like, and if he would have followed sprouts advise, probably would have burnt them or o.d. them on micros. So now ya see that this "trolling" is NOT unwarrented.I'll be damned if I'm going set back and watch people fuck there plants up for the benefit of his ego!Things are hard enough for the beginners, they sure don't need to be drawn in by what looks like a veteran because of post counts and rep bars only to be given bad info. You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all the people all the time! Take care...BC PS...see my post #243 of the boron thread.

I pitty sproutco really, almost as much as the people that have ruined gardens by his guideance.

Can't grow and "plays" doctor all by himself here.

Bet he can't get laid either.

18 posts a day - that's like GW Bush giving marital advice.

excuse me I have plants to tend

I'm sorry POMH - I know I said I'd try to play nice, but,, you have to admit, B.C. is right

one thing newbies have to realize is that they are new and cannot tell if the first response given is the right one. This is a forum and everyone has the right to express their opinions of what they think is happening. Being a newbie one should never jump on the first response and think the diagnosis is correct take in the info everyone gives and come up with your own decission, it may be wrong or right but you will learn from what you decide. The newbies using this forum obviously have a computer so they can do more research on their own, if they care enough. There is tonnes of info on the internet about growing the herb, but in the end the one growing has to make the final decision on what choice he will make and following ones diagnosis may be the wrong course. Cheers to all for the new year.

Thats the funny thing, what sprouty's doing isnt anything new, weed forums have suffered thru ego tripping Dr. Wannabees that want to feed their ego with some bullshit off the cuff trace element deficiency diagnosis without ever bothering to find out what the person is growing in, ferting with, ph levels are at, etc.

Just looks a pic or two hears a poor description and whammo.. out comes his trace element deficiency diagnosis.. this week its copper.. last week it was calcium/magnesium.. the week before boron.. the week before it was sulfur. [ dont believe? look at his post history.]

Is anyone else looking forward to zinc week and maybe if were lucky we can endure a month of molybendum?

One can only hope one day sproutbo will actually grow some marijuana and then see how much fun his own advice works on his plants.

Damn, Sproutco is a somewhat smart guy but the more shit I see him post the more I find he's totally full of shit. He relies on the ppm calculator at Cannastats for 95% of his posts and somehow thinks this is the end all guide to mj plants and that all plants fit into these simple guidelines.

Do you realize how rare a boron deficiency is? It's one of the least used nutes and you probably could go an entire grow without it and still not notice a boron deficiency.

I agree with other posts, Sprout please get at least some experience with mj plants before lecturing others about plant troubles. The worst part is that he practically lives on these forums. :fsu:

I don't mean to jump on you all of a sudden but not all plants are alike and not all plants can be solved by making parallels with other species and using a ppm calculator.

Im ready for zinc week! :lurk:

Seriously though, someone needs to make a thread warning all the new growers about all this bogus 'advise' that is being given out. A quick look and it seems he knows what hes talking about, and before you know it someone takes his advise and their plants get worse.

I have been kicking around the idea of making a thread like that but was thinking I would get banned for flamming. If everybody supports me( I have got a lot of positive rep for putting little sproutie in his place) I have a very conculsive report on where and how sprotcos info comes about. Also I want to challenge this guy to a debate over his trash talking of The lucas formula and all his various untested therioes he post all over this board. For starters the damn stump remover! WTF!! Who supports me pm me so we dont jack this thread. Or post here since this post is dead anyway.

I have a theroy,

Possibly he is Autistic, or his mother locks him in a room a lot.

He's more than a brick shy of a load, he truck left with no load.

I'm pretty sure he has one of those spin pointers with his list of deficencies and problems. Like Wheel of Misfortune

click spin spin spinn click.

and you have pH problem, adjust with battery acid.

click spin spin spinn click.

and you have a Boron deficency - those plants are'nt going hermi.

click spin spin spinn click.

That's classic mag. def. - y yes it is.

Yeah battery acid may work on magnolias - but I don't SMOKE magnolias.

Auto grade acids have no limit of heavy metals - the pipes etc, it is handleed and managactured in may have held mercury, arsenic cyanide - - you bet -

I dunno - might be time to move on

wait till the troll burns out.

IF it passes Dutchgrown's judgement, who am I to piss n moan.

If he's like that in real life, somebodys goina shoot him sooner r later. paitence is vital in this endevor - give him enough rope,,,,,,,,

He is in the US isn't he?

awwww MAN CHRONIC!!!!!! we get ta --well ya know, sorry bud - this is your post,,,,

I'm sorry kid - I use FF Big Bud and Tiger Bloom - and I'm just now test driving Bio Nova PK 13-14

There are several manafacturers pf PK 13-14

Tiger drops PH big time at recamended dose - for me 1/2 strength is a perfect 6.2 or 3 - so I can use it every watering. works very well - it's reasonable compleate and I've used it for years, Now I suppliment with Guano teas - add some molassas, kelp and fish exscract - but I didn't for quite a while and had outstanding results.

The pk 13-14 requires pH down to adjust - it SEEMS really nice nar the end when I want the plant to drain N anyway, but with 2 waterings using it, so far so good.

I'd get the FF Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. Mix 1-2 Tbsp Big Bloom and 1 tsp. to a gallon.

LMAO!! He is in the us. I know I bruised his ego. Ya know I have read up on making bombs for years and could make one(not that I would) but does that mean I can go teach people how to do so?? I feel like research can only take you so far in life. You have to get out there and apply what you learn to really know what the fuck your talking about. There is no replacment for real world experince IMO. So sprout my advice to you is stop :jerkit: over that aquarium calculator and grow something. Show me what that stump remover can really do! Maybe it can get the stump out of your ass!!! :moon: :moon:

can you offer any proof?

it smacks of makebelieve. to think any manufacturer is going to change over from sulfuric to murcury is fucking naive. your just talking shit because you are an lame ass poser, who likes talking shit.

Sulfuric acid is a corrosive, oily, colorless liquid when pure. Impure grades of sulfuric acid, often called
muriatic acid, are brownish in color.
from: http://www.epi.state.nc.us/epi/oii/sulfuricacid/sulfuricacid.pdf

While I will agree the problem with Chronic Newfie's plant is common(NOT NORMAL!) with reveging clones, especially AK47, this does not explain why it happens. It is most likely that the plant is having problems with water and nutrient movement from the soil solution into the plant. It could be caused by a number of factors, from pH extremes to hormone imbalances to water stress.

The fact is that elements that are immoble in the plant phloem ( calcium, sulfur, boron, iron, manganese, copper and zinc) all show deficiency with plant growth problems of the newest growth.

If you fucking trolls would spend half the time and effort actually helping solve plant problems as you do following around sproutco badmouthing him everychance you get, you might learn something and along the way more than likely actually help someone.

sulfuric acid, KNO3 and most all of sproutco's advice are common in professional horticulture.

He is a Proffesional, you trolls are fucking annoying posers(amature gardeners). Go back to your closet gardens and stroke your egos there.

get over your obbsession with sproutco.

After rereading the thread, it would seem Sproutcos advice was followed and the plants seem to be recovering.Good Eye Sproutco!

sprout said:
You want 5.6 to 6.2 ph in promix. Adjust your fert water after mixing to about 5.8 to

sprout said:
Your ferts are too weak. Increase dose. 20% of what your pour on the plant should come out the bottom. Your want some runoff.

ChronicNewfie said:
Well I have been keeping track of my PH now. My water is 7.3 tap water. I justed left it like that (knowing my nutes will lower it). My PH after mixing was 5.8. I measured the run off and it was 5.6

the rest of the thread is mostly you lame ass posers stiring shit!

some of you even gave the same advice as sproutco, but insist on being a lame ass poser and talk shit on sproutco.

A shot of high N ferts will bring em back quicker, for those who don't know...BC

Sproutco has my respect for being able to put up with pantywaste's like you lot!!!!!!!

Hey Stonewall...

You missed this post by Spoutco

I will go ahead and say I believe the deformed new growth and twisting new leaves in a cork screw is a result of boron deficiency. Sometimes vegetable plants will get all their new growth deformed like this. Aphids are sometimes the cause so you should check for that first. The remedy to boron trouble is making sure your ph is low enough in your soil mix. High ph quickly makes this nutrient unavailable. Also, you were applying straight water that lacked boron. This happens in nurserys or places like homedepot or lowes. The plants you get usually will be slightly b deficient. Another thing is that your dose of ferts is extremely low. You should be using 4 times what your using. 100 ppm+ nitrogen. You can use the calculator in my signature to figure precisely how much to add to at least get this. When you use a little dose of ferts = little dose of boron and this might not be enough for proper growth. This problem happens to growers in hot weather when they reduce fertilizer to prevent burn. If the plants don't come out of it after several weeks of changing conditions described above, I can give you a boron boost rate. Lmao.

Here he tells me I have boron defiecency. And to increace my nutes 4x what I'm already giving them.

I haven't adjusted for boron or increased my nutes by 4x the dosage and my plants are doing great!

Before that the advise he gave wasn't bad.

:jerkit: LOL!! I expect this from a guy who lives in the south. I got your troll swingin :bat: .yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaa!!

Sproutco is the poser and I guess you are to. I dont doubt his ability to research every thing on the internet. This research does help people sometimes. I think people dont like the fact he calls out micronutrient disorders like crazy and are sometimes wrong. Not to mention his bashing of the lucas formula and the stump remover saga. He misguides people with info that is not tested. A proffesional I doubt it. He cant grow a plant. Closetgrowers huh, dont think I could fit 24 multi-flow's and 3k watts in a closet. Stonewall, Stick to what you know and in the south thats what... incest?

and don't listen to sproutco - he's an poser, who poses as a grower but dosen't grow - - BEWARE he's wrong again.

And gives neg K for pointing this out

over 3,200 posts since MAY 2006???

that plant is reverting from flower and will require gentle nursing - light watering until the leaves stop the single and 3 fingered ones and get back to regurlar growth and return to more normal growth pattens.

They make nice clone moms with all the sprout sites, but you will do better to establish a fresh and vibrant mom

wana know how I know?

I'll get you a picture later

This was the first post to point out the fact that they are just reveging and that they will be fine. MTF-Sandman and Vavwl both supported this theory.

This advise was bang on the money because as time went by sure enough they went back to normal.

I'm glad I didn't adjust for boron and that I didn't increase my nutes 4x their recommended dosage.

Peace.

can you offer any proof? [QOUTE]

If you could stop following sprout around and giving negs out for truthful posts and remove your nose from sproutcos ass long enough to read a book - you would know there are indeed multiple grades of "industrial" chemicals - which is why medical grades tend to be #1 pure and #2 little more expensive.

There are no standards for heavy metals in battery acid. The equipment used to process or transport and store may have previously held mercury, arsenic, cyanide, chlorine or ant other combination of god knows what,
and - what difference does it make for intended use? NONE - - Probably works great on petunias too but we aren't growin petunias and sproutco don't grow Ganja.

Prove me wrong twerp. I'll gladly go away, it's nice he has defenders, it's a lonely world with out friends and IC is all sprout has. But if he poses as an authority on cannabis - he oughtta be able to grow it. This isn't a forum about pansies

FOR YOU TO RUN TO HIS RESCUE EVER DAY AND CALL HIM A PROFESSIONAL SHOWS HOW LIMITED YOUR KNOWLEGE REALLYS IS.

Your rambleings about revegging plants proves you haven't done it, and yet you still feel the need to inject your admitted lack of knowlege and hope to shroud it in a cloud of pot smoke.

Go blow it somewhere else. Like up sprouts a.......

awww never mind.

First you should understand more basic concepts like mobile and immobile elements before moving on to something a little more complex like why the Lucas formula sucks. By the way, I am not your tutor. Take a trip to the local public library. Its free. Seriously.
