Its nice to burrow under it

That is why, I use an old fashion quilt or wool blankets These artificial comforters are nothing more than fluffed up air. And... yes you sleep better with a heavy blanket.

i like layers of wool binkies, weighted stuff not my cup of tea.

I keep my house temps in cold weather 62F+/- But to each his own

I recently picked one up for only 40$ at the grocery store of all the places.

Early impressions, i like it.

I think the more expensive ones are more breathable and can be used even during the summer. This 40$ blanket has been keeping me very warm the past few winter nights. I use it without any other comforter, just another blanket under it. I cant imagine being able to use it during the summer.
The other big negative is it cant really be washed, only spot cleaning. I noticed this only after i bought it. It was very much a impulsive purchase.

U can wash mine - the covers, it came with the cover duvet, u unzip it and wash it.

The only downside to mine is it ain't very breathable, in summer I
would sweat , bad, but now it's nice and toasty warm in this weather
