weight of smell

put 325g of fresh /out of the bag/ carbon into the filter and after 3 months of flower weighted it and it was 343g!!!!


was thinking moisture but then maybe smell weights few grams too



is that possible?

Would imagine that were you able to rinse the carbon, you would find the majority to be an accumulation of normal particulate matter, or dust.
