I was driving a 73 Carmen Ghia convertible in 1975, which I had thoroughly massaged the suspension and drive train on, including 10.5:1 compression on the dual port heads with two dual port Webbers.

It was no match to a muscle car but easily turned 6500 rpm and accelerated about like a 300cu/in V-8 in a medium sized sedan, while handling like it was on rails.

A hoot to drive! It would easily take 90-degree curves marked at 20mph at 60mph and with the rear engine bias, it would do a 180-degree emergency-brake-turn-around, while staying in the same lane.

I also had a stock 74 Dodge B-100 for camping, boating and hauling.
