never dealt with disputed med gardens.

lots of issues to work out.
first the surveyor must prove his work and his due diligence.
then you have what criteria he used to make his decisions.
did the second party use an independent surveyor?
how far back did they go?
what monumentation did they discover and why did they decide to hold one monument over another?
then you get away from the surveyor and into the judge.
he will look at how long the encroachment has been there and how much the value of the improvements are as well as if there it is reasonable to assume the owner knew of the improvements and allowed them to be made.
did the encroaching party establish any rights to the property through adverse possession.
the list goes on and on and can take years.

yes and no..
it's something we have been dealing with in the industry.
as technology develops we have become much more accurate and in turn every new boundary survey will be much different than those done 50 years ago.

i have read descriptions made by drunken surveyors in the '20s that said "go north 500' to the big oak" obviously in the days of real time kinematic sub centimeter surveying this will change..
so we have to go back and establish intent,possession and many other things just to start trying to figure out where the point of commencement should be..

hell i have to read antebellum GLO and BLM field notes sometimes and their distance calls were rounded to the half a foot. today we run to thousandths of a foot.

you can see wherein lies the problem.

I agree with you.
I wouldnt come close to the nieghbors property line if I was growing 120 plants which is over that "psuedo-federal" limit, as Mike put it.
His wife is just so angry and frustrated about possibly getting busted and loosing her babies. I dont think she has a screw loose. I think she's just pushed to the breaking point and it takes her hubby to keep her back from spearing that fat whale of a neighbor and her "dog", as Mike put it.

The neighbors just want to start trouble for the Boutins and then video tape the wife loosing her mind over it as evidence. She did need to keep a level head on her shoulders.

I got broken into by a good friend and he took 2 lbs of unfinished indoor that was just over 5 weeks flowering. It was a huge waiste! I had to keep a level head and just pack up, clean up, and move. Start over somewhere else with alot more experience and wisdom on the "no tell" / "no show" rules. I could have lost it mentally but that would just cause more trouble for me in the end. Im doing well now, so Im glad I didnt bust a mental gasket and hurt him. Time and Karma happens to the good and the bad.
Mike has to keep his wifes anger in check like he did a few times in the show.

Well as many have mentioned growing crops ON your property line is less civil than one would hope for in a neighbor ESPECIALLY if the neighbor has an entire farm and could plant elsewhere.

Next issue or problem was pointed out by Dag, if you allow them to encroach and you do not complain, they will eventually gain rights in that land AND THEN it will no longer be an impermissible encroachment it will be theirs.

Neighborly love does not extend to trespassers especially at the cost of ones own property.

Time for everyone involved to act like grown ups and try to be the LEAST COST AVOIDER.

It wasnt the Boutins neighbors. It was that dou**ebag Matt and his "muscle"....or should I say his "fat boy". There scam not only backfired and made himself hated by all growers now, but ruined 50% of the yield the Boutins would have gotten from those trees.

I was giving Matt the benefit of the doubt about getting busted and being angry, but being piss-poor broke made Matt a danger to himself and all others that befriend him. All he cares about now is quick money. F*ck him!
Im sure the Boutins will use metal conduit to run their security camera wires through from now on.

Nate really helped that little boy with the seizures. Im so happy that on National Television, a little boys life is changed for the better because of Nates work and B.E Smiths perfect flowers. Nate, B.E Smith, and Mike and Tawni Boutin are heroes in my book.

Its a shame Marijuana has to be the biggest looser in this terrible war on weed.

How could you own a dispensary for five years and then have to search for meds? Shows me that all the years he had it he never did good business with the people who were providing his place with meds. I had a couple beverages last night and looked at it a bit differently than most. Relax and don't take it so seriously.

I saw those guys tinkering in their gardens, which was cool. So there are huge MJ plants on TV this I like.
Mike B & wife told the Dispensery owner to fuck off. Cool again. No smuggling shown, so there is no illegal activity even if Shotwell was pushing for it. So all growers aren't trying to brake the law.

The plants getting cut. Meh, BS made for TV drama. I think it was harvest day, probably ran out of time with them.

Then it swapped over to the camoed up commandos hunting the evil weed. Saving babies from MJ addiction and making the streets safe dang it!! , All the gear, the aircraft, multiple teams and the build up. I watched the tactical arrangement moving into position, and I was like WTF?!
Are they really sneaking up on that old mans garden? They must be bent about the double bird the day before. What a huge waste of everything.(tokehere) (Started thinking about Rosco P. Coletrain, chasing bad guys,and police academy) The huge waste of time and resources. I expected this arrangement to land at Grace farm, or DB's and be 50 dudes in ski masks screaming "GET ON THE GROUND BEEEP NOOW!"
Flash-bangs, and like three terrified growers ...chilling out at the table sipping lemonade get tackled football style. Thankfully that didn't happen.

In the end they raided the illegal grow in the mountains which they painted as cartel run and they left all the small country med grows alone. thats all good. If it was legal it would be as available as tomatoes in the veggie garden, no criminal aspect. The state forest is safe for naturally occurring granola to flourish without danger of being trampled by bands of heavily armed cannibal guerilla growers that booby trap everything and kill people with guns.

The seizure med story, ganja scientist saving the lil man.. this was also good for folks to see. May be that will open some minds about med MJ. The way med states are popping up I think its only a matter of time before it is a completely domestic product and med cards are easy for everyone that wants one.

This is not award winning journalism, it is Discovery reality TV. At the show time a flick through the channels, will land you here as you divert from fox news, house wife reality tv, or other dribble. It is what it is.

The Next show coming up. "Breeders Cup" . It will be centered around elite strain development after the decriminalization of cannabis in the USA. The show will closely follow 10 elite growers from diverse walks of life as they compete to develop award winning medical strains. no1 in valelo wants to deal with him because hes hot as shit.. its not that he doesnt have connections.. but alot of dispensarys out there grow there own to sell . so once dispensary is down.. bud is down.. and alot of growers dont wana be hot dealing with matt.. matts fuckin one of those dudes that is willing to go to jail so .. let him go to jail fuck it..
