Well, today experts are saying that kids carry a higher viral load when compared to adults. They may not indicate symptoms but could very well test positive.
The comment was, just think of the common flue. Your child brings it home and the 1st thing you know, the whole family catches it. Since we no longer have kids in school, the common cold has been pretty much non existent in our home.
To my knowledge, children have not been tested but, would I open up schools the way they intend. Absolutely not! Does that mean we have to test every child in the world? No! But it does mean that at a minimum, a sample group of various ages (children/teenagers) to see what is what. Without it, no one can base an informed decision wrt opening schools without it.

not very long ago Daniel Koch from the health ministry told the Swiss people there was not 1 case where an outbreak was linked back to a child, he said he couldn't say its impossible, but no evidence of it in Switzerland.
man if that changes and schools have to be closed again, people will freak tf out, without schools half the workforce is in etremiss and can't live and earn normally.

People should probably be preparing in case covid follows the same trend as the 1918 pandemic, with brutal 2nd and 3rd waves.

and i never said hydroxychloroquine wasn't possibly a good treatment in SOME cases, but it certainly is NOT a catch-all treatment, according to the current research i've seen, which seems to be mixed and it certainly needs more testing.

i can see how people would draw such a misguided conclusion... personally i'd be more angry at the governments that waited too long and got a lot of people killed.

I see it a little differently. If we wear masks and get the vaccine if/when it is available, we get to live with all of the rights we have always enjoyed. If we don’t, and we die, then we no longer have any rights because we are dead. I choose the first.
Yes my counter argument is Sweden.
They had a high death rate initially as those with not long to live were the first to perish but since then their death rates have improved, their hospitals were never overwhelmed. And they never closed the economy or ordered masks.
