do you HAVE to have a hole in the bottom of the pot you are using to grow with? my friend said that this prevents root rot or something...

any help is appreciated!

Yep, otherwise ur girls will drown and die....the water needs someplace to go if u ever overwater...which most of us do occasionally.

I have holes in the bottom of mine(But no tray to catch the run off)So i water enough but not enough to get run off....I would rather a tray underneath tho(In case of a over water)

No, you don't have to have holes in the bottom of the pot. For most people, however, it makes growing much easier and forgiving - they can overfeed plants and flush later, overwatering is a lesser issue, etc. Both ways are good, but not both are equal in managing.

Yes, The holes in the bottom of pots are essential to plant's. Unless you are trying to re-create a swap to grow in...
