abazabba- cool name! if you have the room there is countless ways you can set up the soil box for drainage. i was thinking about just making a soil box shelf with a few holes in the bottom for the dranage to a small tray. but my cabniet is small and im already pushing hight limits with the 400w in there.

the pvc pipes are air intakes. they blow fresh air over the tops of the plant.

im not an expert or anything but i dont think the blowing of air tot he tops is proper enough air exchange***id love to hear more about your interesting air exchange ports***....plants need to exchange gasses at the root level.. your using a soil less mixture ich has alotta aeration but is till dont htink you have enough ventilation for the roots....have you grown like this with great results before? im gonna watch this thread i wish you luck

p.s. soma's book of buds has a soil box on wheels with proper drainage and a nifty PVC tube with holes in it(like a flute) for aeration....but he has holes on the bottome of the box for drainage* i mean every living thing has to shit and piss dont it? u dont wanna be smoking your plants shit n piss do you?

PSPS..how do you expect to flush your plants?

the plants are doing great, most of them have exploded. im going to water them tonight or tomarrow with pbp grow, pb original grow, liquid karma and cal-mag. i will adjust the ph to 6.8.

i started 12-12 light schedule to begin flowering.

my plants grew some more. and it seems like the ones in the middle have some sort of defficiency i think it may be nitrogen/magnesium/calcium def. its wierd because thier all og kush clones and have all been getting fed the same nutreints. the only difference is that the plants on the edges of the cabniet are a few days ahead of the ones in the middle because they cloned faster.

is it possible the bigger plants are starving the smaller ones of nutreints?

these are close up pics of the messed up plants, someone just told me that the spots are nuteburn, but the plants still dont look green compared to the other ones.

turns out that i had P, phosporus defeciency. i started feeding them bloom nutreints and i added a small amount of pk 13-14 to add some phosphorus and hopefully correct everything.

the cabniet is starting to fill in nicely now. also the leaves are greening up now since i gave them some high P to tackle that phosphorus defeciency.

ive also been doing lst. so far this grow is super easy and the plants grow so fast.

i made a bubble cloner FOR 5$ and got roots in 8 days, FUCK E-Z CLONERS!

they are looking better than ever since i gave them a high P, phosphorus, fertillizer to correct the P diffeciency. there just about as green as the plants that never got the deffeciency and branching out like crazy, one plant has a branch from my finger tips to my elbow! i cant wait to see how big these buds get because of the 400w and the fact that it is SOG.

what can i say, thier growing fast. one plant was touching the light! so i LST'd it away from it. im doing a few experiments on trimming. on most plants i diddnt trim them at all and on a few i cut off all the growing tips exept for the top of the plant so the plant can focus its enegy on the top buds. i diddnt remove any fan leaves only growth shoots. im against removing fan leaves unless they are covering a good amount of potential budsites but even then i try to just tuck them under the growth shoots.

i cant wait to start seeing buds. im so exited! my last grow the og kush just started budding and stopped stretching at day 17 flower so i got about a week.

when do you guys PK boost? im planning on getting some budswell 0-7-0. when would be the best week to use it on my 10 week strain?

its actually still soil less. i put the clay balls on top of the soil to prevent fungus gnats from landing on the soil surface and laying eggs. some people use perlite, sand, gravel, hydroton balls, anything that can dry out super fast. fungus gnats need a moist surface to live and lay thier eggs so using one of those things will prevent them from doing so. if your growing in pots you can also put gravel on the bottom of the pots because fungus gnats can live in the soil by the drainage holes.

there is 15 plants.

core- youll get there dude im still learning tons of new stuff every day. just remember to buy Pure Blend Pro nutreints, a HID light, dont over water, and MONITOR YOUR PH! and you will be on your way to a phat harvest. if you need any help feel free to pm me.

i hear canna is good stuff. only thing ive heard thats bad about them is sometimes poeple get a magnesium defecency in flower. but this can easily be resolved or prevented by using Cal-Mag Plus.

BUY AN EC METER!

i got my CONTROL WIZARD Products 'DIPSTICK' for 100$ at my local hydro store and it is factory calibrated so you NEVER have to calibrate it. and buy an EC or CF meter, not PPM.
