hiya all, just wondering how often people wash the foam sleeves on their carbon filters, bringing it back to that luvly white colour[bit ocd with clean grow room] that looks good in pics,,hate it when they lose that fresh look but shows there doing the job,,so every 2nd or 4th run then washed? thanks peace and regards s2

I'd say as often as you want. Pretty sure it's not foam but a fabric batting - not sure if its cotton, polyester, or blend - but it should hold up well to washing (I'd use gentle cycle). And of course you can order new sleeves anytime too.

I threw one in the washer, and it completely devoured it. Big mess. I would first vacuum it, then use the hose to squirt thru it at opposite direction from intake, let dry. -granger
