Warehouse Design Advice

No it doesn't cycle -- the shutoff on the demand pumps is adjustable via a screw, so you can adjust the pressure cut off. I just set mine pretty high so they won't cycle unless there is like 40psi of back pressure. If it's a very small system then I've seen cycling, but that was with ~30gph of total drippers and the pump is about 200gph. I've run the same pump of 50gph worth of drippers with no cycling. But I use shrubblers now which give better coverage than the drippers, wide open they're about 9gph. 21 sitesx9 is 189gph which is a perfect match for the pump.

nice setup. what pump are you running there?

ive got a shurflo modulating pump on my setup.... and a delavan demand pump as backup... because i sure as hell cant afford to replace the shurflo with the same if it breaks.

QQ you might want to shop around for shurflo pump pricing some places have a crazy markup on them. Ebay or amazon for good pricing. js.

thanks. but the shurflow smart sensor pump i got was infact a crazy steal from ebay lol.

its like a 400 dollar pump... i think the guy sold it to me for like 60 bucks.

not even sure if they sell them anymore.

its an amazing pump btw. its set to maintain a steady 40psi... my fertigation rig has zones for tap water and fertilizer solution and a spray wand hooked up. i hit a switch on the irrigation controller and just squeeze the wand handle...

with this pump you get REALLY nice control of flow with the wand... which ive found indispensable for watering seedling trays and such. i highly reccomend these pumps if you can afford them... alas as a tom and pepper guy i cant.

if i ever need to replace the pump ill likely just incorporate an accumulator and pressure regulator to get the same ability. the delavan back up pump ive got is actually higher flow, so it should handle that easily.

I just adjusted the pressure on the regulator that's on the user side of my water meter. Was easily able to hit 70psi this way, didn't want to push it.

Edit: n/m I thought the booster pump was on the ro supply.

That was me mentioning the growmore...

I run ~900ppm in veg ~1250ppm in flower. Increase only the growmore during flower to get to 1250 - I leave the calcinit at veg levels. Then at week 5 dial back the calcinit down to finish.
