Want to see light stress at 3 feet away with a 1000k?

any reason why we would see this on the 3rd crop and not the first two? nothings changed, same strain n all.. never seen such effects until now and was thinking mg and ca def at first but this shouldnt be the case..

That's a tough one asher. I have had plenty of these scenarios and it sucks. There is gonna have to be 1 variable that is throwing something off. The hunt is the hard part. I suggest always starting off by checking your pH meters calibration. Meters do go bad and seem like they are working. That is the worst. Good luck.

Asher....I have been doing things the same way for years and just started having this problem. The only variable that changed was the lamps. Sun Master redid their 600 hps lamps to accommodate the European market. It was only after I replaced my lamps w/ the new Sun Master lamps that my problem (same as the one you are seeing) started to occur. I don't know if they changed the spectrum or what, but this is the only thing I could figure. I tried one bank of lights w/ Ushio lamps, raised the hoods a little bit and the problem seems to be gone.

It;s weird but my AK47 I can have 1 foot from the 1000 watt HPS and I get no light bleaching or stress. This is the only strain I found that can do this.
