20 days but I think I'm going to need to add a few extra days. With this whole polar vortex, the room has been kinda on the cold side and I think may have stunted growth a little.

Hey Sg, loving the new set up. The plants don't seem to be praying to the light so to speak. Are the pics from just as the lights come on or still getting things dialed with the buckets?

I'm still working on the micro valves on the buckets.i may just delete those all together and go open lined and less time running like I'm used to. Some were being underwatered.

Did a good cleanup and Removd the mini valves. Everything is starting to look much happier now. I'll still give them the extra week or 2 on the back end. Laid the first layer of trellis today too.

I'm hoping so. Some of the bushes have some nice potential I think. I've got a new 10x10 I'm starting on tomorrow so hopefully by April I'll have 2 solid rooms constantly producing some good quality.

So far compared to the CMH I like it but I wouldn't hesitate to run either. Cost wise I feel like the CMH has a lower upfront cost but they don't have a warranty like these hlg. Also hanging height the CMH can be closer than the regular rspecs. Coverage I feel like it's pretty similar. Heat output, the CMH puts out more so in a cold room they may help keep temps a little higher. Right now with the scorpions I'm a constant 62 degrees. A little on the cooler side but not much I can do about it right now. .My vpd is right on though. Constant 62 degrees at 58%humidity. Math wise for my room to be at 1gpw I need 3lbs per cycle 2z per plant.... I don't think I'll see it on this one but maybe on the next now that I have a number to shoot for.

wow nice setup

could you explain how it works? feed schedules? automation ? drainage? are the buckets for only this purpose or are they a normal mop bucket you adapted?

im just curious on these setups, i've always run a hybrid aero / flood drain, but never ran a coco or soil setup indoors hence the questions!

thanks in advance

So the buckets are strictly grow buckets from The Bucket Company. Mine are the 1.2 gallon mini valve drips but I am running open lines and no valves.. On my drips I usually feed anywhere from 2 to 4x a day depending on how much the plants are drinking. The pump is on a timer and the pots are fed via a main line that branches to 1/4 lines. I run my system as drain to waste although I have previously ran a recirculating drip in 3x3 trays without issue as well.

They do but at the same time I feel like a diy er could do it with some small buckets, the bucket top net pots and some bulkhead fittings.

Plants are looking much happier now that I got rid of the mini valves. I don't know what happened but it seems as if the plants are finally starting to stretch after being in flower for almost 30 days. They will definitely be getting some extra time on the back end.

So calendar wise I'm 30 days in. Theyve only just begun to stretch and fill in. I think this round will need the full 70 days for sure. Also the seedlings started on 1/4 of the Athena light feed last week and got some tip burn so I swapped over to 2.5 ml pbp and tribus to get them started. Threw them in 1 gallon pots today. Also popped 3 more varieties of seed. 4 or 5 each of some super glue#5 x 2000s afgooey, some dragons glue(gg4xdragonsblood)and some glufie s1s I made a few years back.
