gizmo666... how do the laws there view black powder firearms & replicas? here, before my legislature passed the "constitutional carry" law (IE-if not prohibited because of criminal or mental reasons, and over 21, anyone can concealed carry) the law viewed black powder revolvers etc as "a non-firearm". you could have one hidden under car seat etc loaded & caps on the nipples legally. oddly, however, if it was primitive weapons hunting season, you had to remove the cap from the nipple to legally have your rifle in a vehicle. never could get a LEO to explain that to me....

lol
if it looks like a gun and you have it concealed =firearms charges
if it can fire a projectile= firearms charges
even a blank firing weapon will land you the same sentence as a real weapon
our cops have even arrested a 12 year old boy for having a plastic toy gun(seriously google it theres been many many times this happens in the uk lol)

Here in South Australia Gel Blasters are considered a real firearm and you need a license and registration (yes it needs a serial number engraved on it), the same with replica's.

The only guns you can get without a license are cap and ball guns made before 1901.

damn...i'm luckier than i thought then, living here.😌 the naysayers that cried "WILD WEST SHOOTOUTS!" and predicted daily chaos, mayhem, and rampant bloodshed have nothing to point at & scream "I TOLD YOU..." i guess the old saw about "an armed society is a polite society" might have a germ of truth at its core. the few morons that have done stupid shit like pulling guns in parking lot disputes & shit around here would have had a gun on them before the law passed. criminals don't obey laws...

i go to a traditional archery site now & then. it always struck me as odd how many of the articles were from folks in Australia. i think it is fairly plain why so many bowhunt...

he was lucky. here, occasionally, they shoot them. been several instances (Black kids nearly always) that the kid took a look-alike toy gun & cut off or painted the bright orange muzzle to make it look more realistic. someone sees them, reports "young Black man with a gun", trigger-happy cops pull up, jump out, "BANGBANGBANG!"
