Polls actually close at 8PM here in Cali kryson. 6.5 hours to go, but they say if the voting is really close, then it could take until 2AM to figure in all the mail in ballots.

Getting exciting here waiting.

Last I heard (yesterday), only 3 million of the 7.6 million mail in ballots had been returned so far.

I think any 'results' being reported now are from exit polls. I haven't seen or heard anything on 19 yet, but I have heard some comments about other issues that were asked at the polls.

Early exit pools indicate that voters under 40 are in favor while those over are against. They said if more younger voters show up, it could easily pass.

And as far as the out of state poll on this site concerns: Most voted YES on here because all they see is "general legalization" with most of them having very little clue what it's really all about.

Looking closer into the numbers it's actually closer to 66 percent in favor and 33 percent opposed if you take into consideration the people who live in Cali who are voting yes but wish it were a better bill.

Secondly, groups in many other states are watching this trying to decide whether or not to pursue depending on the outcome in Cali. Try Washington, Oregon and my state in the Mid-Atlantic region where 1 plant can get you 35 years.
