Hey guys I have this vivosun 6" ventilation fan model #306204-6 and the thing plugged in goes 100% and blows shit everywhere. Lol. I picked up a cheap controller from Amazon and it didn't work. So I just got the vivosun since it said it would work as a speed controller just what I need. I don't need a fancy Wi-Fi thing I already have a timer like that. Lol. This thing doesn't work either. It's on or off. Did I get a defective model? It has a three way switch for Var/OFF/Full. It's all on or off. All the way.

if that controller is full when the switch is set to variable (regardless of there the dial is turned to), then it is defective. I had one of those PWM controllers but replaced it with a variac because nothing beats a pure smooth sine wave (PWM controllers can make the fans noisy, especially at the low end).
Yeah the only two variables are var and full. Every aspect of any variable is full. Lol. The var side takes longer to fire up but gets to the same speed either way.

And upon looking at all the bad review from icmag users and the way they treat customers here I will be boycotting. And uhhh. Icmag. Why you can't speak up and tell vendors to answer questions customers have? Lol. If you ask me you're letting it happen and saying nothing when newbies like me buy something to help the grow. That's what this place is supposed to be about. Good lord..Im not even surprised anymore.
