10 years is not too old. clean with H2O2 and soak in seaweed concentrate
for a while and they should germinate in the normal method.
thanks phil for the pics kinda hard to see. Im just trying to figure out what those black buds were from back in the late 80's. Thanks for the helpmine is the real deal, dont know bout the ATF version tho b/c the breeder of that strain offered me his genetics for a cutting of mine back in the OG days but i declined him. thats all im gonna say about that matter.
sorry for the crappy pix but here's a bud of Black Nam grown outdoors in Northern Illinois...Hope this helps.
Ps, its really a dark dark purple color but from a distance it looks black...
u r welcome.
there is also a thread here on IC about
chipping or sanding your seed to allow
easier access for moisture to inside.
We should be able to get Viet black right now. They still grow there.
The strains are still there.
Maybe we can convince Gypsy to launch a REAL expedition
for landrace strains of the Vietnam variety by hiring a Viet ganja
brother/sister to venture forth and send Seedbay some strains.
Seeded Samples sent , as well for the vets to try & see if worth keeping/breeding.
kind like Gypsy did before.
EDIT: Heck they could do a Vietnam video and show the field they get
the strain/seed from. Kinda like "strainhunterss" but the real deal Gypsy.
I am really intrigued about that Black Forrest some of the guys here are raving about. Is there any place where i can buy some seeds? Couldn't find no link to the magick garden or magick kingdom seeds mentioned earlier
havent been on here long enough to know how moderators feel about links...everyother place i go allows them so here it is...if it is in violation pull it or let me know...SS

Originally a cross of a female from southern Vietnam/Saigon, it has been crossed with a male northern Vietnam/China. Originating from Vietnamese genetics brought back to North America in 77, she's an extremely potent exotic sativa.
Not recommended for medical users: usually resulting in shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, raised blood pressure, leans towards paranoia. Her sweet tropical ripe mango scent and sickly sweet taste will speak for itself. Vigorous strong brancher and top heavy, support recommended.
A very heavy yield compensates for a longer flowering period.
Indoor Specs: Flowering time: 9+ weeks, Height 150 cm, Yield: 1+ gm/watt. Original Auction Description
Sorry but no pure asian sativas going to finish in that time most will be luccky to even sex in that time.
I have seeds of this VB you quoted Dali. Got them from auction and received from Heavens Stairway. I grew them out and there's no way they'll finish in 9 weeks from seed. If you take cuts after they've sexed you may get them to flower in 12+ weeks.
