no you are correct, however the increased population of stoners in the dam sure dont hurt sales. the idea behind most event is to make $$ or draw business to an area. Like Miss America. Its not like people give a fuck who you think is the prettiest girl. the point of it is to bring people to Atlantic city at a time of the year when business is slow. Boardwalk towns dont make $$ in the winter so they get a bunch of hot chicks on stage to draw in more tourists. More tourists means more traffic to their casinos, more people in the casinos spend more $$. Same applies for the Cup.

I cant argue with you there. Old pink would be soo lonely! NOone stopping in to visit. Though i am sure there is a way to get some beans there for purchase. You are right though. a large point is to get those to A'dam and get them to buy beans and with no shop in Ja. it dont help Gypsy and folks that much sale wise. But if we put our heads togwther i am sure that they can get alot of beans down there for us to buy from gypsy and folks

i haven't bought a seed while in amsterdam. if you think the 420 has anything to do with seed sales you are wrong. i will not deny that it might effect seed sales in terms of the winner selling better from then on, but that's all and only for the seed co. cup, also as the competition is blind, there can be no cheating. the 420 it's self can of course not be moved from amsterdam, but there is nothing stopping another cup type meeting some where else. i suppose there might be people that use the opportunity to buy seeds while there, but most of the cup goers know that the seeds are cheaper online then in the shop.

This weekend, Dec 2-3, there is a Cannabis Cups in Mendocino County at the Blue Lake Lodge.
Lots of excellents entries, including Ken's Grandaddy Purple.
At least 500 people expected to attend.

you have a good point there mate, no where else can a smoker be as safe. if one thinks about it, specially cups which are talked about in open forum, should not be held in countries were pot use is prosecuted.
