hoosierdaddy, Looks like they were into 12/12 long enough, so they didn't reveg. The pic below were taken a week+ ago, and they look just more mature. No signs of reveg till now....

cellardweller you are welcome too....the girls looked just great last week, when I visited them. Ill be checking them in a few next days, and probably taking some samples with me...they should be done in a week or so.

Earlier in your thread I was wondering why you weren't tying them down , after all you were using string.
Then I remember. Vertical grow hazy, duh.
The girls seem to have made the change to outdoors in good shape. Looks like they finishing up fine in spite of the longer days. Good you live in a climate where you can grow outside in June. Not here.

all my IC friends,

well, the summer is over, hope you all enjoyed it and had some time off. I thought it would be nice to see whats going on here on IC....All off the buds grown in my cab are gone , but I enjoyed while they were around. Hazy the girls did just fine under the circumstances, and yes, in June we already have temps up to 28-30°C during day.



I have some old sins dasme, you're right ....so here it goes

White Satin

Aroma – Very low through flowering, but after a quick cure, untouched buds got really nice sweet aroma. After they are crumbled the aroma becomes a bit more more citrus like. After it is smoked, she keeps a bit of that citrus.

Flavor – She smokes nice&smooth, kinda fresh. The strongest present flavor is that citrus that was hiding inside the bud.

Bag Appeal – nugs are very compact, light green/white color and covered with trichs. I even smoked the small leaves that were also very resin-ish, and got nice effect from it

High – I found it very relaxing and clear headed. Perfect for chilling out on a rainy day. Few times I got to a state, when I wasn't feeling my body anymore


Kalichakra

Aroma – Also very low during flower, but the aroma wasn't so nice as WS. My pheno had this earthy unpleasant smell. When smoked even become stronger, which makes Kch unsmokable indoor in my case.

Flavor – Also like aroma, the flavor is earthy too. Buds weren't dried correctly so maybe that spoiled the flavor a bit.

Bag Appeal – Pretty big nugets, but not that compact. She has plenty of trichs too

High – Definitely stronger than WS, and also more active high if you don't ˝overdose˝.Great for sunny afternoons with friends



Speed Queen - couse of the circumstances this girls went throu, wouldnt be fair to jude them yet. They will have 2nd chance

you got that right my friend, but not by upper ones. I'm not having an OD thread this year cause I have a buddy in crime, but will probably make a small review when its all harvested. And NO MORE trees for me. I think its just not worth, to risk so much. I actually get bigger yields from the tied, LSTed ones vs. 2.5m plant. That 3.7m high tree last year yielded only around 140g, while the small ones gets up to 100g. Ill rather stay below radar ).
I must drop an eye at yours garden soon, and see how you're doing. I'm sure Ill bump into lots off tasty buds

hello my friends

At first, I'm Propoline, for those who don't now me yet. I wast around here for a some time now, but that's gonna change soon . Happy to see we got a new section here on IC, dedicated only to vert growers :yay:.

I already try this indoor fun for a bit, couple yeas ago, but had to shut down everything due some problems. But now its time for my restart.......I gave my old cab to a friend, and I'm building myself a new one . This time Ill try to keep things as simple as possible. Its going to be cab with two chambers side by side, each around 70x70x85cm. I already have Elicient125 in line fan, scrubber & cooltube from my old cab, and still have to get all for lightning. Flower room will contain 2x150hps on electronic ballast, but haven't decided yet what to put in vegetation part. Main concern is heat!

And now the part, where I need your help guys. I would like to have only 1 intake & 1 out. And cant figure it out where is the best place for holes. All that I know is, they all have to be on the back side of the cab. Here's a little pic ................

So the air flow will be .... intake on the right veg side, through light trap in the middle into the flower part, which will contain carbon scrubber ------->out. Have I got this right ?

Well, the start line is officially crossed....today i ordered the lights, and should be here by the end of the week . I also rethink and redesigned my cab a bit, and made some more accurate drawings of it.

heres the front side....left side is flower, with intake in back behind the pots and 2x150hps. In the middle is fan with scrubber on top, and all electronic stuff in the bottom. Two red squares on each side of filter ( in walls ), are holes witch through will suck. the right side is for veg.

The A&B arrows are cross sections for bottom pic. All units are in millimeters ( 1ft =305mm)




As you can see, i decided for light traps, with double walls on the back side, for the intakes. If im right, i should have intake twice as big as out??But with two "rooms" that makes me only 125mm circle in each one, with my 125mm fan. So my question is how big the intakes?? I wouldnt like to cut anything after the cab will be done&runin. im guessing...better more than less, i can always close a bit of that hole.

My Elicent125 pushes 365m3/h, total volume of both sides is 750l.So that makes me if im correct....

vent...365m3/hx1000=365000l/h

365000/60=6000l/min

6000/750= changed air 8x per minute at full speed. But the fan will run only on half or less, cause of security reasons& ill be sleepin close to it.so that makes me 4 times or less. Is that OK??

Also I would need some help with that light trap. The walls cant go much wider, maybe an inch. How many crosspieces, how far away from each other, how long should trey be?? it would be good if it wouldnt district air to much, but on the other side it MUST be light proof.

and last, the back side...top holes are intakes, the middle bottom one is filtered air out. With all rounded measurements on all pic, I would appreciate any help. also all other suggestions are more than welcome, Im opened to any ideas.

Well, the cab is almost done, and already running. Still have to do some finishing touches. There are a couple tiny light leaks that have to be fixed, and have to try to silence down the fan a bit more. There are some durbans waiting to be sexed, and a couple sadhu clones that are going to into flower in about 14 days.

hey folks ,

how is it goin? Hope you all having nice weekend. Ive been kinda busy last days, finishing the cab... All 4 sadhus, were topped on Wednesday, and they made quick recovery, so today were transplanted to bigger 11L pots, and putted under 150hps. I topped them at 3rd node, so I got ~25bud sites. I plan to leave 16-20 sites for main colas, and the rest prune a little bit more, and train around on the bottom, where the big colas will have popcorn.
I also manage to get rid of rumbling noise of fan. When the fan was in horizontal position, the propeller was making this vibrating noise. So now I hang it vertical, and is way better. All I can hear now is a little air flow on the back side, but really minimal. My laptop has louder fan .... so if the TV is on, on even if window is opened, you cant hear it a bit.

hey there tngreen , glad you find your way back in here. Its good to be back & back in action, its really been a while. About the cab...yes I bought it, but a friend woodworker made it for me, based on my drawings. Actually, its TV standing&computer desk. On the left side, the top shelf is extended for another 125cm, where my laptop sits.

On to the babies....they seem to love those big pots, they are really takin off now. All those Mikes genetics are just bomb. The cuttings were taken on 7/3/10, took them 8-9 days to root ( in soil with no root booster). Then vegged for 8-9 days and topped 6 days ago. Will give them another day or two, and then flip to 12/12.
