Hi , we are now at 12 or 13 days flowering and things are going pretty well. canopy not too bad for pair of bubbas and the overhangs fit in the cab fine (i chose bubba for the lack of stretch/height rather than for its ease of scrogging... and because it's a fine, fine smoke). i was away for a couple of days during stretch and a few leaflets touched the diodes and got slightly burnt . i will get away with the height of the cab as long as it doesnt stretch much more, but i think it is topping out now.

Sorry for the delay in updating the grow. Things are going ok... had a fungus gnat problem that likely stemmed from using capillary watering whilst away for a few days so the soil stayed too wet... seems to be over now.

These pics from yesterday at 4 weeks. coming along nicely.
sorry for the poor quality pics, half term means i have to watch my back and can't get the plants out properly !

hi all, i have some slightly better pics today. First off an honorable mention for the predators - Amblyseius cucumeris - as they seem to have sorted out a long standing thrip problem.

buds are swelling nicely - these pics at 5 weeks

Hi all, been a hectic couple of weeks - i am changing around the extraction and setup of my cabs... which compromises things a little in the short term as i get it all dialled in, but in the medium to long term should improve the environment and allows me to add an extra cab or two. (more about that soon! )

The plants are doing ok though. These were taken at just under 7 weeks and, true to form, the bubbas look ready - but will be left another week or two as this really builds up the resin and quality. Colours have been enhanced by the plants getting a little cold a couple of times whilst being shuffled around, but at this stage i hope it won't have compromised too much.
I checked the height of the cab from bottom of the drawer to the light - 16 inches! Quite a nice challenge to pull off but doesnt allow for much depth of canopy. I think i can get another inch of height for the next grow now that my setup is different - but i would maybe be better cutting the top off the cab and adding more still.

Thanks guys, this is a reasonable start for the new cab. Colours are nice but they are also partly because the plant has got a bit colder than ideal... i'm thinking i may let it really freeze in a week or so just to see how dark they go lol. The smell is lovely, almost sweet.
The temps should be better managed going forwards.

I've had really good success using the bio-line products. Have you ever had any experience with ordering biological controls from Arbico or Koppert? I might be using one or the other as vendors in the future but I don't know how many live ones make it to the purchaser.

hey bsgospel. i'm in UK and order from a company called ladybirdplantcare, but i think i have seen the koppert branding on some of the stuff i have bought from them. TBH ive found bio controls to be a bit hit-and-miss - especially as you have to stop spraying when you introduce them... but this one for thrips has been great and is s'posed to last a couple of months. Ive also used nematodes for a scarid fly/fungus gnat problem quite successfully.
