Veg Time On Seeds

Hey everybody, been a long time since I've grown seed to flower indoors. Need a refresher. I was going to pop seed, keep them as mothers, and take clones then flower the clones as I would normally. Now I'm thinking of flowering the seed plants out but how long do I need to wait before forcing flower? With clones I veg for a month then flip but I'm thinking I'll have to wait atleast 8 weeks before being able to flower them. Or must I wait closer to 10 weeks? Or can I force flower at 6 weeks from germination? I've been flowering clones in 2 gallons but am thinking I'll have to step up to 4 gallons to account for the extra growth. Thoughts?

6 weeks should be sufficient. I never had a plant that didn't flower from then.

Ok cool, thanks. I can probably just maintain 2 gallons then and keep them a little smaller. Looking to pop a bunch of seed and pheno hunt a little.

I'm not sure how many weeks old the main plant is but over a month for sure and looked what popped up.
