Veg height / yeild

I'm know a million posts have been made about veg height. However, I haven't been able to find my answer. I see many people vegging a foot or two. I even see recommendations from some seed folks that overall plant height is say 4 feet. Other than ceiling height issues why would anyone veg for only 2 or 3 weeks? I usually veg at least 4 weeks and that is because of height. I still get a good 3 feet out of my girls before I flip. That is also without a scrog. I am scrogging this grow and i may veg for 6 or even 8 weeks... Am I missing something?

if you fill a space with clones that only vegged for 2 weeks you can have quicker turn over. me i prefer to just let the plants veg while I'm flowering so i have plants vegged for 7 or 8 weeks going into flower when the others are getting harvested.

So basically, someone without space might just finish a run and have clones to fill the space with instead of having space to veg while they flower and this would be the fastest way for them to get a crop.

I also thought it was important to let plants veg to a mature state. That better quality and yeilds come from plants vegged longer?

Larger yields come from vegging longer but not a more powerful product. Some people growclones to 3 ft or higher before switching to 12/12.Other veg a week 10 days max and go 12/12.Alldepends on the style of grow.
