I recently found a large nugget of lowryder that I'd had in the freezer over two years, not vacuum packed, was as nice as the day it went into the freezer. I'd lost it.
Does that attachment for mason jars come with the Foodsaver, or is it a separate accessory item?
Great thread. Have an unusual situation and a question.
Let's say a harvest is only a week into the cure then has to be left for about 5 weeks. Would putting them in Mason Jars and say putting them in the bottom of the fridge work?
Hi Reg
Yes, fridge works well, slows down the timescale I think... just make sure it is proper dry before you fridg'em
No. Just dont pack the buds in the jars. Dont overstuff them. Keep them light, fluffy, and unpressed.Do I need to vacuum seal the jars beforehand?
What are the ramifications of not vacuum sealing before screwing those lids on?
