interesting, my friend has been running them for years 24/7. no herm or damaged a/c.

possible its very low wattage uv. also possible its just shining on hdpe which is fairly resiliant, though not totally resistant.

the floaters in my pool last like 4 years before they get brittle and shitty. they are HDPE. the brushes too... HDPE gets brittle and the nylon bristles start abrading.
