Blueberry seedlings trucking along I am trying to take it slow with these gals because I know they can be finicky. They only get RO water no nutes yet they are under a T5 with a heating mat.

I want to document this grow because I am doing things a little different this time, as in using Hortilux Blue 1k bulbs for the first 7-10 days of flowering trying to see what difference if any this will make. I have been wanting to try this for a while now and although I have been successful by my standards using Hortilux Sodium 1k bulbs throughout flowering. Trying to see if the MH Blues will help with initial stretch without having to use Bushmaster. Last run I pulled almost 5 and half off of 3k of Grape Ape so I hope I dont mess up a good thing but experimenting is important in the art of growing.

Definitely see a difference at Day 5 in the MH Hortilux Blue bulbs the plants are growing wider/more horizontal than normal they are getting fatter like they are still vegging. They have stretched some but not as much as usual, I am going to switch to the Hortilux Sodium at day 10. With gain comes some sacrifice so I will see how this effects bud development if at all.

I know this is not a new method by any stretch of the imagination but everyones environment is different and methods are different thus results could change.

They are starting to settle in nicely I think I can see some of the boys already. All I need is 1 girl, 11 for 11 are making it 1 does seem to be a runt but she will get the same treatment as the others. These seedlings will be getting transplanted within 72 hours of these pics.

Ladies are at 14 days . . . . I removed the hortilux blue bulbs at 10 days I did notice that it kept the nodes tighter together but not that significantly and in the 4 days since putting in the hortilux sodium bulbs in the extra lumens has made a huge difference all of the gals just have an extra bounce like they said thank you.

Seems like the Hortilux Blue for the 1st 10 days of flowering is having an impact, I am used to having nice big resin coated colas but I dont believe I have had a run with nugs this big this early, really trippy though. I can see the writing on the wall . . . .
