Can Salt be used to raise the pH of the nutrient/water mix to water the plants with?

I took a sample and notice that the pH goes up; when I add conditioning salt used for fresh water fish tanks.

I'm also finding post about salt being good for the plants, but I want to ask before I commit the plants to a doze of salt water.

I think that perhaps you might want to do some deep study into nutrients, ph, ppm and so on.

You WILL kill your plants with salt.

just to add it ssems that epsom salt is usually only used to treat a magnesium deficiancy, not to adjust ph.

If YOU are in doubt about the salt, or about anything else in life that matters, learn to study/research. Search engine the "conditioning salt" you refer to, determine its make up or formula, then make an informed and educated decision.
