Using co2. What happened to the Dank?

First grow using co2, ( thanks to Gnome) no other grow room changers, just have to wonder where the dank went.
Currently, three weeks into flower, sealed room under 1000 watts HPS, co2 @ 1500ppms and holly shit, I have buds everywhere. At least a 20% improvement using co2 than without. A closer look using my jewelers loupe shows I'm frosting up just fine.
For the last 4 years have been growing a very stinky purple strain but this grow, only a slight hint of dank after squeezing the buds.

Question for our co2 users.
Is this common?
Will the dank return when curing?

Isn't it kind of early? Don't you think it'll dank toward the end. You'll want to cut the CO2 back to a maintenance level, like 400 ppm, in the 5th week. Good luck. -granger
