From what I remember, it was not going to be a released strain . So if it exists or not is anyone's guess.

lol, trust me i dig the kush... i just dont get it, it seems like everyday theres a new Kush report, a different color or flavor but hardly ever pics

Phenotype possibilities are exponential to the parents, tho no outward appearances jump out to identify the pheno. Neville's Haze, for instance, has pure haze phenotypes (PxP=4, f1xf1=8, f2xf2=16) (f2xf3=48) and only 3 appear different with indica traits. So I'm thinkin' different phenos appear the same to my eye and the best phenotype expressions can only be identified by the true test of toking it and reporting on your impressions. Also, 10 growers can flower out a clone that appears to be a totally different phenotype, grow style and environment shape the plants differently from what I've seen.

Most of the time they look similar in the indoor inviro but sometimes they are totally different....Same cut..

yeah they aren't useless at all but they do make it harder for us to pull out the worthwhile reports for our particular interests. i say if anything they should just section it off to maybe seperate the street bought 'purple haze' type reports that are ridiculous as far as correlating these names to the real strains. of course lots of people are into claiming names for unverifyable type situations.. and would still say 'of course its the real one'. and when seed lines are introduced with same or similar names to clone onlys and such man that really gets messy.. i've seen so many ecsd clones that look totally different. lots of them look like rez seed sd stuff but the people claim ecsd. just one example that is common. but true some clones grow to appear different even just because of enviro.. but some of these are just blantant fakes or hopeful type people who were gifted cuts and told something..

i mean i guess if you are really into it like i am you can start to easily recognize which reports are worthwhile reads. pics/repuation help a lot and just the way they start to describe the experience they had with whatever.. but maybe they could have a 'i found this report to be *this* helpful type of 1-10 rating system for them

I see nothing wrong with posting a smoke report on a strain without a picture. Pictures are nice but sometimes people don't have cameras, like myself. Also there is nothing wrong with posting a report on strains you can't get.

A smoke report is a smoke report, it's useful information no matter what..... as long as the person is making sense, LOL. Smoke reports with no pics do get me pretty angry though.

Agreed w/ the majority here- Just b/c you can't "buy it now", doesn't mean that regionally, it can't be acquired as a cut or even in seed form. So skip over the ones that don't match your requirement set, and move on. There's many a thread that I don't read because at this time I know it's not applicable to my interests. I also like reading some posts just because it's mentally stimulating- even if it's not an immediately acquirable commodity. You're almost saying, "I only grow in dirt, why do you bother posting threads about hydro?" It's all interesting at some point to someone. All Smoke Reports are useful and apreciated. I have read reports and couple years later ended up with that strain/clone. There were times that I've PM'd the author to ask questions. This site and forum is ment to be a great resourse There should be no limitation on knowledge.
