6 days into flower as of today , just started poppin through the net . pics are from day 3 when i put the net over them . they had a 60 day veg ..... i think lol , didn't really keep track . but they were topped numerous times & trimmed back a couple times till i had room in flower . couldn't wait any longer so i just kept them in my 4 x 4 veg room & flipped them to 12/12 ..... an extra harvest is always nice

i fed them once by dumping a 5 gallon bucket of thier normal feed right into the tray (clean tray of course ) so they could suck up the feed instead of top feeding , just to see if it made a big difference , but they didn't like that at all !!! threw a real bad K def on me . so i hooked up the top feed system & defoliated a good portion of the fans & let them recover from that before i flipped them . they're doing great again . but i guess i won't be doing coco flood & drain to soon again . these girls sure didn't like it .

.around week 2 or 3 , after the stretch is over , i'll go in & strip all the lower crap that don't get light . let the tops & mains concentrate on budset .

only been feeding them every other day trying to keep the stretch down (has worked on other strains ) once the stretch is over , i'll start feeding them daily .

It normally stretches around 50% ish. I would be worried if you were not using a net in that space. It will be beneficial (as you already know) that you can bend some of the more aggressive tops down and put em in a diff spot. But I must tell you that I have never been able to veg that cut for as long as you have. LOL I think you will be fine though.

that's a cool idea with the net design, I would like to try that style, I like how light weight and mobile it looks, how do you get the height of the net right?
looking awesome D-buds!!

Thanx Lester :tiphat:

not sure what you mean , how did i get the height of the net right . i just tied it up with rope to the same hooks thats holding the hood & dropped it down to where it was a couple inches above the plants , that way they can grow into the net & i can spread the branches out to the holes i want them to come up in .
hope that answers your question .
the net is just garden fencing from HD tapedto some tomato stakes , nice & light & i like the 2" x 3" holes in the fence , the buds can grow through with no problem & the rubber coating doesn't chew up the stems .

ok, got it, thanks! I guess I was just thinking what if I place it to high, and I guess you cant really go to low, just bend more. this has been a curiosity of mine for a while but haven't had the nerve ( afraid of change and screwing up my results) to do it. but I think with your set up, I am all over it lol. I am going to run half under the net and half without and compare. I bet the net wins  just looks like better light and support to more tops. hhhmmm can't wait! :dance013:

thats basicly all i use the nets for is support . yeah it helps spread the branches out too , but no i'm not really doing what you would call a scrog . i don't bend branches unless i have to .... i just move them further away from the plant into another hole .

the height of my nets really depends on how much the plant stretches . if it doesn't stretch much , i'll put it right down even with the tops ..... if they do stretch , i'll put the net 8 to 10" above the plants so they have to grow up into it . its easier to move branches around where i want them as i watch them grow . dig it ???

Speaking of nets & plants ........

Just read through the the UI, amazing thing you got goin on here. Love all the pollen your chuckin around. I for one think the homemade personal chucks are better than the commercial chuckers bean 99% of the time, even if just because they're unique and different than what everyone else is poppin. Keep the sick updates coming brother, and I thought I had a pretty sick bean collection. Very impressive to say the least
