US state grow laws?

Oregon will bust you any chance they can. Thousand dollar fine for less than an ounce! That's money the cops can't pass up. Also the grow laws are harsh unless you are a med card holder, the state and local LEO seem to actually respect the medical mj laws.

No im not saying that i want that, i do just fine with my 40 plants, but i always hear people talking about if you have over 100 plants then the feds can come get you.....the thing is that i dont see that etched in stone anywhere.....if anyone has any more info on the fed law than norml does please post a link.....this has always bugged me ever since i saw the norml description of the fed laws.... the state i live in the state law basically mirrors the fed law except its distribution or cultivation of up to 50 lbs (the max penalty is 2 years and its not even a felony) instead of 50 kilos i think by far our state has the most lienient laws as far as more than personal use goes where if you have up to 50 lbs you cannot do more than 2 years, in other states you can do upto 20 years for like 20 lbs. in montana you can do life jus for selling a pound now thats crazy

I read a case online of a man who got caught in Penn. with hundreds of plants.. In Penn they have mandatory minimums but this guy got off with a very small sentence compared to what it says on NORML.. He should of got hit with 5 years min but infact did less than 3.. The most important thing is to have a good attorney.. But if you live in a state with harsh laws I wouldn't even bother growing there really..
