In soil they stretched no more than about 4"... seemed like they just perked up cause they grew a lil taller and wider at the same time so it didnt' look like stretch if ya know what I mean. I'm at day 33 in my current run in hydro and I did get some stretch... they went from 2.5' tall to 3.5' tall.
These pics were taken at day 28 or so
70 days veg in soil gave 3 zips each. This hydro run I gave em 50 days veg and it looks like I'll get at least 3.5 zips each with 20 days less veg
Hey GN!! How ya been bro: haven't rapped out with ya in a minute now........got me urkles veggin as we speak and godamm they grow slow but whacked off some cuts and gonna throw em in some buckets so hopefully we see some faster growth rates......
Got a question for ya though.....what level ec .7 you run em at.....they seem to like a big dose of nutes from what i've seen so far? What's your experience........and come on buddy........throw up a thread in one of the main grow forums so i can hassle ya more often....haha.......hope alls well brutha......be well
Fernandro... nice lookin ladies bro..they look happy as can be. Thats coco in them pots yeah? When ya gonna flip em? Thanks for sharing the pics
Somoz my bro.. I've been working a lot... not much time to mess around on here much. I'll use this thread and update with fresh pics when I can so put me on subscribe. I'm approaching day 40 and this run is BIG They're about 3.5 tall and all staked up so they don't flop over.. they look cool like that haha.. pics soon.
This is my first run with em in hydro and they don't seem like heavy feeders to me. I have them runnin around 800 ppm now (.7 conversion) and they don't want more. They look happy, nice color, more resin than I've ever seen so I'll just ride em out like this It could be that the coco holds nuts so they have what they need in the pot. Could be a different story with straight hydroton though. How you planning on runnin them?
In soil I did't feed a whole lot. I use the "moonshine mix" which is one bag each of fox farm ocean forrest, potting soil (red bag) and light warrior. In this mix they don't need additional nuts for 30 days or so.... I just hit em with 15ml per gal of pure blend when I see the leaf color getting light and that's worked well. Hope you're doing well too bro.. You know how to find me if ya need to
Thank you all for the visit... I'll have some pics soon of OG s1, Bubba kush from Mission street, and some ogre (sensi star) and some big urkles
Yeah bro coco all tha way. They're at around 14 inches and I'm probably gonna' flip that one when I think she's gonna' yield enough purply, greazy nuggets.
hello gro

fernandro, nice plants dude flower at 14" should produce some real nice budage from what i know about the e/urkles
very nice guys
I've been collecting clones for years now, and have turned many down becuase of space limitations... But... And I stress the but... Purple Urkle is a clone I have put on my own personal MUST KEEP list, she deserves the space in my collection. We're down to just a few clones that we find special enough to keep, the rest we've done are spectacular - for the most part - but Urkle be the real deal.
The first time I grew Urkle I wasn't expecting much other than great purple weed, so I didn't keep any clones. I usually get these 'grail' clones, grow them once or twice, do my articles on them, and let them go, or give the mothers to local growers (not in the 'scene') to grow out and be smoked. So, I grew the Urkle that one time and had no backup clones to work with... Well, after trying the smoke, I realized that I was making a BIG mistake in NOT keeping a clone of this lady. Every branch had turned into a knobby, purple bud, so there were no good places to get a clone from at this point. I took a bud from the lowest branch, put it in a rockwool cube, threw it into the cloner dome, and dug in for a very, very long wait. Cloning buds like this is a last-ditch option. 6 months later, the clone had rooted and gone through it's TEDIOUSLY SLOW re-veg process, and was finally ready to give clones again. The wait was worth it because, as I said before, this stuff turned out to be the real deal superweed.
The buds turn purple with or without cool nighttime temps, better with some chilly nights though, the entire plant, in all stages of growth, exhibits an incredible vigor - even for an old clone. My opinion is that this plant is PERFECT for breeding projects, and I think some Urkle projects have already turned out to be outstanding.
The first good taste of Urkle I ever got was from one of my own plants (I had smoked some commercial Urkle before-hand that was... well... commercial), the taste, as far as I could summize, was - PURPLE. It didn't taste like berries really, it just tasted - PURPLE. hard to explain, but if you ever get the chance to smoke truly connoisseur quality Urkle, you'll taste what I'm talking about in there.
And what good is a discussion about legendary herb without talking about the high? The head was memorable, quite a unique sort of effervescence in the cranium. Plenty of potency to it. People still talk about that herb. A good friend of mine - who gets to sample everything we do here - saved his Urkle sample for last when he was running out of herb. That guy can tell you exactly where he was and what he was doing when he finally broke down and smoked the last of his Urkle. It was both a sad day and a great day for him. he has a funny habit of saving a small sample of everything I do in a single bag, and knows what every sample is by looking at them. He smoked every other strain from my stable BEFORE the Urkle, which gives a little more testimony to Urkle's special quality.
We won't be smoking any good Urkle for months still, but the wait makes it that much sweeter.
