Hi xg,
I think an ounce per plant is alittle optomistic, especially if you had males with open pollen sacks. If you have air circulation in your grow, I'm willing to bet your gonna get seeds this grow. Keep an eye on the buds.

I'm not much of an expert, as this is my grow, so i have a few questions:

You say I'm gonna get seeds this grow...exactly what does that mean?
Is that bad?
Any way to alter it?

Sorry for the newbie questions, just like to know everything that is going down.

Hi xg,
If you grow females and there is no male pollen around, the females dont make seeds and your buds are considered "sinsemilia", thats seed free buds.

If you have males in your garden, which you did, and they release pollen, the female buds will be pollinated, and they begin to produce seeds. When they make seeds, the buds won't swell like unpollinated ones. It wont affect the quality of your smoke, you'll just get less of it.

If your plants are pollinated, it takes about 6 weeks for the seeds to mature. When you dry out your harvest, you can collect the seeds and use them for future grows. Once their pollinated, you cant alter them. Its not so bad for your first grow.

Like you said, this is my first grow, so I'm not too pissed. Hell, I'll be happy with a little bit of bud, just because I grew it, you know?

BTW, I'm gonna pick up a microscope from radio shack tomorrow so I can start checkin the trichs soon.

ive had two instances where bog seeds turned hermie on me...once was with a lifesaver clone form a fellow OG-er and the other strain from bog that hermed on me was the purple punch, right when it came out...supposedly everyone likes his strains ..but i never really was impressed...i got fairly weak yeilds and hermiez...not to mention yellow leaves and a hey smell....no offense bogs a great grower but i wont be growing his beans again...

i see first shots are males...and the rest of the pix are females...the pictures of the femlales are out of focus are are badly lit....if you post better pix we might be able to determine if they are hermie's.....hermies have banana looking phallic protrusions yellow in color. these bananas will expand and turn into male pollen sacks....either hand pick them or kill the hermie plant....either way it looks borderline too late.....seems like you will have seeded buds...good luck to you
