You would need the host file info to get to the site. For me, my password doesn't work on the test site.
Agree that some sort of chat system would be good. We're open to suggestions on that front, being totally honest we don't have any budget or spare infrastructure to set anything up so I'm wondering if we could set up a Discord Server or Telegram group. Just an idea don't shoot me.

The invite worked, but an inactivity log-out had me unable to get back. They wanted too much info
It is, but you'd probably end up on new forum test server and trying to pull info from this server. Your pc needs to know that all comunication with that address is through that ip. With the ip in the bar, you just have the address to get there, but it wouldn't work because they are diferent servers, diferent databases and it will be a fuckup.

The host file gets edited with IP addresses. I had to re edit the file to get back to the public site.
The host file looks like this. There are no ICMAG IP addresses listed in this host file. Admin will give you that. You add the IP address at the bottom and save it to the original location
Hello all, hope you had a good weekend. We're now moving away from member testing to testing of the moderation tools so don't worry if you've not managed to get on.
We're going to get a few of the moderators on the Xen version over the next few days. If we have positive results there we're going to lock the test site and put plans in motion to make the switch.

Hey all, sorry for the radio silence. I've had a load of stuff to finish off in my day job so haven't had much time to work with the guy helping us migrate from Xen.
On that front we've got some dates!
We're going to be putting things in place ready for the migration on the 28th with the plan to start the actual migration on the 29th.
So the 28th is going to be the last few bits of housekeeping, setting up a discord server etc...
On the 29th the site will be locked so that we can take a dump of the database and media libs.
Once that's happened we will begin the import into Xen using this data.
It sucks but we're going to be looking at around 48 hours to complete the migration, the first 24 ish hours is going to be the import, the second 24 hours is going to be setting up all the options we need to in Xen, fixing user permissions, fixing groups, fixing node permissions, setting up the base theme options etc...

First thing you need is some IG (or some other social media service that can be checked without account and login needed) profile where you will post updates to keep the stoners herd from panicking! Then maybe a discord or something for those that want to join there. Let me know if you need any more help!
