On the rare occasions when I can spend more money or beer I always go Belgian.
Amazing beers, especially Trappist selection.
Those monks know their beer lol

Westmalle Tripel - the best beer I have ever. I have had the 0.750 bottle too. Amazing. Others I like are Duvel and Delirium Tremens.
I really want to try Orval but its was out of stock when I searched for it.

Belgian is the only way!

Great selection man, I gotta say I tried Orval for the first time recently in Amsterdam and that shit is one of my new favourites! It's like Duvel, a clear pale but even more refined and slightly sweeter. Absolutely incredible.

Chimay Tripel is great too, look for that one with the white label.

Peace

Nice man. I had a really good tripel last night... Canadian made Unibroue - La Fin Du Monde. Might be the best I've ever had.

Orval is a belter of a beer...got a clove and apple thing going on in it. If you can age a bottle for a year you get all sorts of funky horse blanket smells from it...in a good way.

A friend brought me back a Westbrook IPA from the states recently...DAYUM that's a lovely beer!

Brooklyn East India Pale Ale. Brooklyn beers all are fantastic and the EIPA is pure gold. And Serria Nevada mix 12 pack called Snowcap. The Coffee stout is a HUGE beer, took me four hours to drink it and washed it down with several SN pale ales lol.

Heineken all day, just don't serve me that hoppy pond water that they call beer in San Diego

LOL....I am the polar opposite.
Just don't serve me the stinky clear liquid they call Beer in Holland.

Wifey just scored a case of Sierra Nevada Celebration at CostCo...$24.49, nice! But Dave would not like it, that hop thing.

I just used more hops in a 15 gallon batch of beer than what Heiniken puts in a 15 barrel batch..

mgk

Dave is good to have around...the more Heinies (hopless liquid) he drinks the more "beer" there is for us to enjoy. Ahhh, it is good to have Dave around; someone gotta drink what we don't like (waste not...and all that).

Not to be gross, but there was a brew-pub that I was a regular at--the standard expression before going to the head was--"time to make some coors lite"; the color was about right.
