Trying out this W'10 Pitch Black IPA... not bad, but not great either, IMO...

I also dig Drake's IPA. But it's more difficult to come across.

It all depends where you live. I'm in the upper Midwest. We have some great breweries and I try to drink local, but make exceptions for brewers for some of my favorite out of state brewers (Founders, Bells, Bear Republic, and Lagunitas) and also some larger craft brewers with products are priced more competitively (New Belgium, Sam Adams, and Sierra Nevada). I like Ranger IPA almost as much as Racer 5, but it is $2 per 6 pack cheaper.

Jackie Brown from Mikkeller is a definite favorite, along with B.O.R.I.S. The Crusher and the occasional IPA

i'd have to say mine, but seirra nevada's estate ale is by far the greatest beer on the planet. as a hop farmer and very very avid homebrewer who has brewed over 500 gallons of beer i think i know a thing or two. but seirra's estate ale is made using only barley and hops grown on the brewery property. it is by far the freshest beer you will ever drink. really hard to find tho. but beer is one of those magical things that man still doesn't fully understand. i avtually believe the need for alcohol is what help human change from a hunter gatherer society to a agricultural society. for those who believe in jesus...it is said that he was actually a brewer not a wine maker. the people who wrote the bible were very high ranking members of society and they would have been able to afford wine. were as the common man would have only been able to afford what was considered beer back then. great thread...there a lot of beers in here that i need to get to trying.

Budweiser! Born and raised in the shadow of their Van Nuys brewery. Gotta keep the cash in the community! hahahaha

If ever in San Francisco, check out the Toronado Pub. Rosamunde Sausage Grill next store. Good place to suck down some beer while being blazed.

Bear Republic Racer 5 is another gem.

What ever's in my hand at the time. Seriously I,ve been enjoying Pyramids Apircot Ale. Good in the summer time. Winters most always anything from Rogue Brewery in Newport OR they have these garage sale three or four times a year and you get great deals at the brewery. But a fresh Ninkasi is hard to beat.:friends:

Budweiser was originally a Bavarian Brewery in which good ol Adolphus Busch inherited through boning the owners daughter....shit Adolphus was from Germany himself and spent most of his time there... Technically Budweiser was NEVER American in the first place. They just made there money there.

Budweiser is about as American as your Toyota then. :thank you:
