Ur Favorite Beer?

W

Whatever

If you like hops.
How can you not like hops?

My beer favorites are Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale (very malty actually but STRONG bitter hops and nice finish hops too to balance but this is a winter beer, Moylans Double IPA and Moylans Hopsickle kick ass. Alaskan Brewing's IPA is really nice.

Anyway...I could care less about beer alcohol content. If that was a primary concern I'd be drinking just about any barley wine or something like Moylans Imperial Stout.

I only drink one beer. It's called Golden Monkey. 9.5% and two of them get me buzzed. It's a Belgian spiced beer. Highly recommend it. Plus goes well with a nice skunk or diesel. :joint:

after i burn a few i get a big thirst on, and that first cold one sure is good, and on a hot day it is amazing :D

if you liked the dogfish, try delerium tremens. its got a kick at 8.5%, but is tasty enough where you could drink your sixer and not taste hops for the rest of the day...

I drink a few select brews - micros only. I actually live in a beer snobs paradise, its a shame Im not into it like a was years back.

Im a rum drinker still, have been for a lot of years.

Well SoulCoughing, welcome to IC Mag :jump: :rasta:

I prefer the monkey as well, superb flavor. I love the cloudiness and taste of a great unfiltered beer. Make sure you don't go and drink five of em, they do pack quite a kick and it'll sneak up on ya. :spank:

90 minute IPA is a great beer as well. I am bummed it doesn't come in a six pack though haha. That is certainly for the best in any case. Harpoon IPA is also usually a good selection, although the 90 minute is certainly more intense.

Peace,

90 min IPA is good, if you like that I recommend Ithaca's Cascazilla-also super hoppy, my favorite pale ale has to be New River's, the Amarillo hops give it a nice citrusy taste, similar to Magic Hats Roxy Rolles, Saranac makes a nice pale ale as well...anybody else here tried Skull Crusher? brewed in the Orkney isles, named after a viking king- a little malty but really nice

These all tickle ma fancy depending what sorta mood i am in:

But at the end of the day Old Speckled Hen has to be my top choice. Do not really give two hoots about alcohol content but am more concerned about the taste. Went to the great british beer festival a couple of years ago at Earls Court in London where they had hundreds upon hundreds of different ales, beers, ciders and perry's from all over the UK and some from abroad also. Fav from there was one brewed by Leatherbritches called Raspberry Belter.
