g'morning ogs ... :wave: i want sour d ... but the growers who hold the cut around here are greedy and wont let me have it ... the sour d i'm talking about is a 10 year old clone only cut ... it is a cross between a oaxacan mexican sativa / and an afghani indica ... 73 days to flower ... ( i can NOT confirm the components, but this is what the people who have it say ) the high packs a punch and leans towards the indica side ... that is how i felt the herb to be when i smoked it

that lineage is a myth..........started i believe by Soma's strain descriptions of his NYCD...........he described what he thought was a mex. sativa (ECSD) that he crossed with his afghani-hawaiian.......people started describing anything with the name Deisel in it as a mex-sat x Afghani.........Rez furthur confused the issue when he named his ECSD x NYCD creations "Sour Diesel"........in my opinion, both of them should have named their ECSD crosses what they are: ECSD crosses......or something completely original, so we dont end up with such confusion.......but hey, those two words sell lots of beans.......some see it as a bogart of ECSD's well-earned rep not to rename (one can always just add the lineage in parenthesis after the new name)........some see it as a great deed to make the genetics (although different) available to the masses in seed form ........take your pick......they are both valid in my opinion.........but im not trying to start arguments......just voicing my humble opinion!...........be well, yall.............nate
