valerian root capsules also help. They're not a knock-out, but they help take the edge off restlessness so u dont end up tossing and turning so much, and doesnt leave you feeling drowsy when you wake up

Ahh yea you'll get a tolerance to that shit. I used to be straight hooked on those things, and I'd take more and more, to the point where I just tripped nuts -- not fun, either. I switched to another version of unisom, which has the same active as nyquil. This worked for a while, but eventually same shit started happening.

I always felt a HUGE need to stretch my feet, and legs while taking these drugs for any period of time, which COULD NOT be relieved. You ever get this?

depends on the weed. I had a very indica pheno blockhead plant a while back that would knock me out when I didnt even wanna sleep.

the stuff I've been smokin recently doesnt do that at all....prolly why I need the extra help.

where do you get melatonin?

I get off work at 1AM on friday nights and got to be back in the office at 10 AM. 30 minutes before knocking off from work on Friday I eat 1mg of melatonin and it works wonders. Been doing it for months. Screw all the synthetic pharmaceuticals

I got sum 5mg melatonin tabs....pretty high dose it seems (i may have to cut them).

....took 1 last night for the 1st time, and it knocked me out pretty fast, (totally interupted my trimming agenda).

and I woke up really dis-oriented this morning....thinking I had to work but didnt. (thats always a nice surprise tho)

anyway yeah they def. work......how does the tolerance factor work with them?

1 hour before you hit the sack and you should be alright. eda- melatonin may be more effective when dissolved under the tongue.

if your sleep pattern is the same each night, your brain will adapt to melatonin faster. it should not reduce the drug's effectiveness, as it would likely turn out to be more beneficial in the end because you would be falling asleep easier. if you do not have a specific sleep cycle, I cannot say for sure that it will induce or promote sleep faster over time- but it sure has helped me tremendously

Some of these names are pretty foreign to me...these meds you guys are talking about - are they over the counter or require prescription?
