Hey dan where can I see some growes of biesel? She's the queen of the screen right. Acts like she wants a 4x4 to her self and only in a 10 gallon bag :tumbleweed:

I've only got a few shitty pics of a couple grows of her . but i'll tell ya what ..... GG & her a very similar in growths habbits & bud sizing .
she'll tripple in size from veg & lay all over the net once the buds start to fill in . big floppy bitch like GG , just not quite as frosty . good amount of stank to her too like GG .
sound like a cross made in heaven mabe some day?

I have heard something about this. And my style of growing mixes using living soil and compost teas, with using liquid nutes. Im thinkin maybe its time to get off the fence and commit to one or the other. So, im thinking of doing away with the teas, sticking with the G.O., and start using just straight ss4 advanced. I dont think my recent problems are necessarily being caused by my mixed styles, but i think it might be doing more harm than good?
Unc- do you add anything at all to the ss4 advanced? Perilite, worm poo? anything? The "mix" these troubled plants are in, is mostly ss4 advanced, with a little perlite, worm castings, happy frog, and some local organic amish soil mix called "Frey's" (sp?). I mainly added those things cause i had it leftover. Like i said, from now on, im thinking straight ss4 advanced.

Third Looking good bro! After you get it down, it super easy. And i was hopin you'd get that one to work. Those colors are so nice;), it be a shame to pitch it. If it ever leaks on u though. I found another tote from lowes that defininetly will not leak.

i used to add some compost to the mix and a little azomite but not anymore, just straight ss4 advanced mix...
its the happy frog thats the issue i bet...

So when I awoke today my first thought was, did I plug in the pump on my cloner?

Nope. 3rd time now I've forgot to plug it back in. It's like that movie groundhog day I swear.

Clones look good though.
crap,i forgot to plug my cloner in!!

:yoinks: 600 bux! thats like 1/4 of what my whole rig cost! of course, thats about what a good pair of wheels would cost me....

:plant grow: all the rain sure made the front gardens pop, making it real easy to pull weeds...im finding great satisfaction in yanking a couple feet of bermuda grass rhizome out of the ground...seem to be getting the upper hand on the nut sedge finally....
glad summer is almost over, had minor bug problems all summer, never bad enough to really spray much, always very limited numbers but i have had gnats and thrips and now a few whiteflies, everything usually dies off with the first cold snap...thats still a ways off though...

I use tap water not RO.
I used Epsom in spray bottle as dan suggested I hope it works. I sprayed every thing with it I hope that was ok?

that looks more like iron def to me.mag def would start at the bottom of the plant and work its way upward,if the symptoms are starting at the top then 9/10 its a micro nutrient problem which is most likely being caused by lockout of some sort,be it from pH problems or an over abundance of some element so im guessing theres been some change in your local water supply...

im betting its a sign off some sort of pH problem then, first thing i would do is get fresh soil for them and transplant if you can...

back from my little daily ride, really just need to run to the store which is only a 2.4 mile round trip but i managed to ride 9 miles out of my way...even managed to get GiGi up to 32.4 mph on a short downhill....

bug,i highly recommend reading the stich and joe fresh sick plant guides whenever you have a spare moment when you are online, theres also a couple of print books on sick plants and reading them over and over and over really helps to notice problems right away before they get too serious...

everyone feel free to ask about plant problems, the more info you can provide, like for instance filling out the sick plant form thats available in the infirmary sub forum, the better, and good well lit plant pics can be really helpful, especially if you can take the plant out of the garden and put it near something white to make it easier to see leaf color.
the first thing to consider when having a plant problem is ask yourself what has changed recently in your garden.anything new? and sudden condition changes? did you alter the plants feeding schedule? have a really hot or super humid day? any sudden large amounts of rain or unusually long drought periods? new nutes, old nutes, funky nutes? sometimes its a little thing, maybe your fans are dirty and not running as well, maybe time for a new bulb. also remember it takes about 7-10 days for the plants to really respond to an input good or bad...

The happy frog had been sitting in my basement for a while too. It smelled kinda musty. I shouldnt have been such a cheap ass. But i hate to waste unused stuff.

When i first found those sick plant guides on here, I was blown away at how helpful they are. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars over the years, on almost every grow guide ever published. Those stickys are unparalleled.. and free!!!

Grabed some epsom (it looks like i have some time b4 it expires,eh?), new nutes, new ss4 advanced. I dumped the rest of the happy frog and they Frey's (amish mix) out back. That amish shit is crazy expensive too. Its like 35 bucks for 1.5 cu feet. and it doesnt expand to 6, like the ss4. It's supposed to be super awesome for cannabis, and im all about supporting local business, but thats just too damn much. Prolly one of them amish posers anyways.

O yeah, and when i was at my grow store, i priced grow tents and 600w ballasts and bulbs; it is almost double what i can get it for on the internet. And of course i would much rather pay cash, at my local shop, feel safe; but I'm thinking thats too much more to pay. I have never ordered anything to this house yet. No equipment, no seeds, no nothing. And i really dont want to. But could it really fuk me if I order a 8 x 5 tent from one site, and a 600w ballast from another? I'll buy the bulb at my local shop, and those are the only 3 big things i neeed for my upgrade. What do u guys think?

I unplug it when I check to see the root progress, otherwise it sprays all over.

Speaking of checking roots, I found this on one of my old glue cuts that was dead but I left in the cloner.

The growing tip dried up and died so all it has is a fan leaf.

Now taking bets, anyone think it will grow a new leader?

your probably just fine ordering over the internet...probably...unless they do something dumb like ship you a giant box the says "GROW TENT" all over it...as far as the ballast it would depend on how good your local shop is,if they will automatically swap a bad ballast out then i would be more prone to sucking it up and buying it at the store...thats the real advantage of shopping local is when something goes wrong you're not down for a week or more waiting....that said, there are reliable places to get stuff online...check the return policy first....and it never hurts to ask about a discount at the shop...

oooh, ok. Yeah, i have to do that too. I thought u meant u unplugged it for lights out or something.

And I thought I had a bad memory!

just joking!
I actually do have a terrible memory. A couple years ago, I was taking the slack out of my ducting. The ducting that vents my lights. I turned off my inline fan, to screw back on the duct clamp, and i completely forgot to turn it back on. Next day i went in and it was 137 degrees! It didnt take long in a 4 x 5 room with a 1k and no ventalation. Talk about a horrific scene.:yikes::fright:
