Yep dans, they have what are called ice pinchers, where the glass is pushed in to the tube so it will hold ice cubes.

Sounds like a good deal unc, I paid 325 for mine.

Just set up my rez's for the next ten days. Back on auto pilot!

rearranged the veg & put 20 of the seedlings in 12/12 tonight . 15 Bog & 5 S1's . they're big enough now , that they'll grow nice enough in flower to give me a decent representation of what the plants are like & the buds should fill out pretty nicely . shouldn't take more than a couple days to show sex & I can weed out the males & get cuts off all the girls .

picture.php

once the 2 trays open up in flower the caseys queens & P13's in this pic will go in 1 tray

picture.php

& the madness , purple frostbites & GWS X AWW in this pic will go in the other tray .

picture.php

I put my moms & a few seedlings & cloned plants that i don't need for awhile under a 2 light 4' t5 under my work table untill room opens up in flower . then they'll go back in under the T5 rack where they belong .

my moms & the 2 PF up front
picture.php

Its alot of jockeying around , but once everything is where its supposed to go in the next couple weeks & the males are gone .... it'll open up some room for me . gonna need it if i'm taking cuts off all them seedling plants & cloning them till i decide if they're keepers .
Thats the basic idea anyway .... it could change at any given minute .... i could change my mind tomorrow on what goes into flower next lol
Damn !!! this is more work than when i was working for a living

dan werent you just bitching about not having enough going on and the glue not being frosty enough or some such?
it was your old set ups ventilation problems that were holding you back, look how much happier everything is now...

the new bong is great, the only problem with ice catcher bongs like that is once the ice melts the hits arent quite as smooth, but you can pull some pretty good rips off it when its all fresh and chilly...perfect sesh bong...

cruising along in flower, did some more branch weaving on the 45 gallon glue, should be some nice big cola on that plant...
gonna go out for an overnight camping trip once the dog is gone, take a lightweight kit with me,drop the trailer off and go explore out one of the canyon roads,i think its county maintained at least in part, but it goes a good long way back into a local mountain range, from looking at it on google earth there could be some good long rides linking bits of this road and that....first thing im getting for the pugsly will be a good gps unit with pre loaded topo maps...garmin makes a nice one built very ruggedly with all the features i want like being able to route plan ahead of time or being able to punch in a set of coordinates and have the unit guide me there...and even more important the "breadcrumb" feature that will guide me back out when i go exploring...by the time i get done with all the outfitting of three bikes i will still be under 10 grand but will have a set of bikes for nearly any surface and be able to tow up to 300 lbs and will be able to do everything from lightweight everything strapped to the bike camping all the way up to a flatbed trailer with either the road bike or the pugsly strapped on plus camping gear,or the rigs real purpose, set the trailer up with a tool rack,a rack for the pugsly, some rock hound and prospector gear, and be able to go gem and fossil hunting in the back back country...beyond the reach of roads...

Sounds like fun unc, im inspired.

I went on a walk in the woods yesterday with the three hounds and thought how fun it would be to go bike camping with em.

You ever do geocaching?
I found one with my lady once on accident.

Up before 6 again today...

That's okay, you know the old saying, the early bird gets the infomercials.

Done my fair share of geocaching. Actually have a nice Garmin that I haven't touched in a couple years.

no kidding, two days of stuffing myself im ready to get back to some chicken and rice again...

for the most part navigation around here isnt that hard...theres distinctive mountain ranges all around, and many of the places i ride its really just a matter of heading downhill and you get back to a road...but there are some places it wil be good to have for sure...plus i will br riding to places i have never been to before and may not even really know where i have been until i see the gps tracks...

Morning SUKers :coffee:

got up early to check the status on the van .... which won't even be touched till monday :shucks:
i could do it myself ..... but i'm not dropping a 3/4's full tank in my driveway this time of year . It's like 20 degrees out there !!! :freezing:

Yeah Unc .... all my bitching & worrying seems to have been for nothing ..... but with all the problems i had during the summer .... i feel the paranoia was kinda warranted . i still have some worries cuz i feel as if its a little colder now than it should be & its not as cold out as its going to get here . its been 70 during the day & 75 to 80 at night .... so its not too bad , but the subzero temps are what worry me .

i have the 4 x 4 on a 12/12 cycle opposite of the flower room hoping the heat from that will keep it warmer during the day . i have to take the exhaust from the 4 x 4 out of the crawl space & vent it into the veg/work area of the attic yet . probably do that tonight .... seems like we're always tweeking something or the other huh ??? :)

I guess being a bitchy worry wart is just how i roll
i'm always striving for perfection & its DAMN hard to accomplish in a far from perfect environment !!!

its never for nothing, thats how you learn this particular craft after all...its not like theres a manual after all,i mean there sort of is,but everyones system is generally unique to their circumstances...just be glad we have this site now, when i was first learning there wasnt anything like this that i knew of,i guess overgrow was around but i barely even had internet back then...getting onto icmag sort made all the stuff i had been reading for years make sense, sometimes just having it explained in another way was all it took...not like im any sort of master grower, but at least i dont feel like quitting every time i look at the garden now! lol, more like...i sure would like to take a month off of this sometime...

lol ... my kid is at that point now cuz of his cloning not working & he's a perpetual cloner like you .... no moms to be able to get more cuts from . i've saved his favorite strain for him , plus handed him a few of mine . now lets see if he decides to keep a few mothers :)

& hell yeah !!!! IC is where i've learned everything i know !!! & theres always more to learn, which is why you guys ain't getting rid of me too soon

i dunno why the unc-o-cloner works for me and not others, generally its too much light with clones..so much of it comes down to finding your rooms goldilocks zone...my room conditions are often far from ideal yet it almost never causes me any problems aside from not liking to pop seeds in the summer...heck,the veg room was in the 80's and 90's all summer with very few problems...

man,im babbling this morning...gotta head out soon for some quick errands,be glad when the pup is gone in some ways, been awesome riding weather but i dont like leaving her alone for too long...i have her kennel so i can lock her up when i leave, but shes such a sweetheart i feel bad leaving her...

lol, those car things sure sound like a pain in the ass, sure glad i dont have one!

Top o'.... Gotta love waking up half baked still... only half the work to do first thing in the morning!!

IC has totally assisted me in my quest for the best/easiest Keep It Simple Shitbrain method. It all boils down to tangibility... smoke em if ya got em stylee... one must embrace the information age! Like unc said, it was all hush hush for a long time. The availability of semi unbiased knowledge is unreal these days. I'm frequently saying motherfuck why didn't I think of that!!!

there yah go,the simplest method is the one most likely to produce consistent results...im not over here rocking out the 1.5 gm per watt harvest by any means, but then again since i set my basic goals per light so low i always get what i need, maybe not what i want, but then again it takes me like 30 minutes a day to tend to the gardens...lots of time for bikes...

Morning bikers.

Dan, how is your temps higher at night than day?

Unc, when your temps were in the 80's and 90's, what were your minimum/lights off temps?

Sorry for the brevity, I'm on my tablet and I hate typing on this thing.

thats in the veg room,so it cools off into the low 80's at night, the flower room hardly ever gets above say 82,but during the summer it may be warmer at lights off than during lights on...to be honest i rarely pay any attention at all to that unless i feel uncomfortable working in the rooms....for the most part it not like i can alter the room temps all that much anyway...
