so,the dried total was only 240 grams or .53 gpw which is neither terrific nor awful for me,and about on par for my first run with the horticulture lighting group 550 panels...


clearly the ts3000 can pump out the frost...along with the buds,which were pretty small for the most part,there's another 80 grams of top quality trim which should make for a nice batch of bubble hash.


overall i'm very pleased with the quality of the buds. i just chopped another 4x4 area worth of plants from the hlg room,some of the same strains but the buds got much,much larger...plants in smaller pots are going to out-yield the same strain in the mars hydro tent and be of similar quality.


although both setups are fairly similar in wattage and ventilation,the environment the spaces are in varied...the tent was in a colder space and oversized for the lamp,the main led room stayed more stable in terms of temps,but the plants suffered from a bad batch of medium and never got glowingly happy. the plants in the mars hydro run were healthy throughout,but a bit crowded and probably could have been pruned more...




so,pleased with the lamp and the tent,never a snagged zipper,no fuss at all with the tent.the lamp is still in perfect working order,no issues at all with it.


next round should be more productive with larger plants and the addition of two sp150's to cover the space better,still some areas not getting full intensity but there's not plants in those areas so should be better all around since two more lamps keeps the temps up and the space overall is warmer now so no 30 temp swings...

got done trimming the first half of the led room lit with horticulture lighting group 550 panels...348 grams from 500w or .69 gpw vs. 240 grams from 450 w and .53 gpw from the mars hydro ts3000

a little late watering the plants today...2 weeks of 12/12 now,all the plants have started flowering in earnest now,need to get in and raise up the center group as soon as i have clean buckets to set them on...

got three mars hydro tents here and not a complaint about any of them so far,seems like a high value ratio considering the cost...i like the all metal poles and connectors and the zippers are heavy duty...and it seems like they have fewer light leak spots than the other tents i have...


and no complaints about the lights either,indeed i hope to be snagging more here pretty soon...

3 weeks into flower now,everything filling in nicely,getting into the meaty part of flowering now...did some work clipping plants down to even things out a bit better...

so yesterday i cut some slabs of foam board to get the plants up off the floor and i noted today they looked much happier...like i'm feeling kinda dumb for not doing it sooner since i had to do the same thing in my mars hydro 4x8 tent...

Know what you mean about the cold.. I’ve put a couple of tubular greenhouse heaters in the tent (30w each, thermostat ones) seemed to help a little
