Um...WHAT?

So I'm currently flushing...getting my dry room ready. I have a decent dehumidifier (not cheap), analog temp/RH and a digital temp/RH meter. EACH ONE IS SAYING A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT RH. The digital one, which I took out my cab, is saying 45%. The analog one with two dials says its 55%. and the dehumidifier says its 75!

I know RH is CRUCIAL in the drying room. Which is why I'm trying to get it dialed in before I throw everything in. I have some test nugs in there now.

Which one do i trust? My heart tells me to trust the analog one. Is there more likely to be error in digital meters or the old school style dial ones?

dont dial anything in, just make enough room to hang and set-up the dehumy, a small fan on low or medium in the corner (not blowing at buds) will help improved dehumy performance. id go with the dig/analog temp meter, the dehumy is reading that number on a sensor inside the vent/duct/intake.

Well I borrowed another digi meter from a friend and it reads pretty closely to the other digi so I think I'll just go by that.

The RH in my place gets up to 70% and I'm terrified of losing my first crop to mold.

I'm using my roomate's room as the drying room as he's gone for the summer. I think what I'll do is just what you said....set the dehumid and put a fan in a corner across the room so it doesnt blow directly on the nugs.

But this issue kind of bothers me...how do we know the mneters we are buying are accurate? Don't they need some sort of calibration once in a while? I mean a difference of 20% RH for some people can mean mold or no mold. How can we know for sure? Spend 500 bucks on a nasa hydrometer or something haha.
